Hi,

This is a topic that should have a few differences of opinions . I know of a few players that are always dressed neat and clean regardless of the situation. when u see them, they are well groomed and dressed to impress from head to toe, and on the other hand, some guys always look as if they just came up from underneath a 3/4 ton power stroke diesel .

This thread is not intended to poke fun of anyone, we're just having a little fun here .

here are my thoughts

Best

John Schmidt
Rodney Morris
Jack Cooney
Mike Sigel
Jimmy Mataya

Worst

Cole Dickson

edit : I love Cole, but he always dresses like a hippie iron worker . Can u imagine Cole in a tux ?

Best:
Sigel
Rempe
Strickland
Archer
Dallas West
Rodney Morris

Worst
John Brumback
Tommy Kennedy (clean but never keeps his shirt tail in....or out, it's always halfway undone)

Richey always wears a suit and Hat

Best dressed player in the Pac. NW, Rich Geiler.

Dapper indeed

Only 1 time have I seen Geiler not dressed sharply. He showed up for a BCA league match wearing a running suit and I didn't recognize him until he made a couple practice strokes on his first shot.

I have always thought that Kim Davenport looked as professional as anyone.

John Schmidt seems to be doing the same.

Keith McCready always comes to the tournaments dressed for combat!

Actually, all the players clean up pretty good at high-profile events! I think they all have their Sunday suits and tournament attire on hand when the need arises.

This list would not be complete without the man, the myth, the legend - TF Whittington - he always has the whitest shoes in the room - and rumor has it that TF sat behind Mosconi in the 3rd grade.

lol

TF is definitely one of the nicest people I have ever met. He's a joy to talk to, a joy to play, and a joy to have at any event - and yes - he is always well dressed and as sharp as a tack!

I was watching a match on TV recently, and Kim was one of the commentators, and his voice sounds exactly like Paul Weigands voice.
Paul owns Shooters here in Wichita.

This touches on another point. Some people (myself included) occasionally mention the desire to have pool gain respectability, popularity etc.

Having pool players dress as though they slept in their clothes does not help.

That being said, I think the Europeans look the best from a clothing standpoint, at least in tournament play.

Tony told me he returned this suit to the store it was bought from.

Also, I think if Earl loses the shades, gloves on both hands, various braces that make him look like an American Gladiator, he might make the list...:)

LOL!

Interesting opinion. I'd respond to you via PM, but I can't stop laughing.

Tony has a hard time getting fitted. I remember he encountered a problem at Carolinas Open one year, trying to meet the dress code. He was on the road for a lengthy period of time, and his clothes needed to be laundered. Men on the road don't seem to tend to these chores very well. :embarrassed2:

Tony Chohan borrowed a shirt from Rodney Morris at the Carolinas Open, since all his were dirty. Rodney's arms are so big that his shirts fit Tony!
