Poor Service

I ordered the Mike Sigel DVD's 2 months ago now- I've heard nothing from the person in charge of IPT Sales after numerous emails. My credit card has been charged.

There isn't even a number to call the IPT on!!

It makes me sick that a multi-national company can take this long shipping to the U.K. when there some of the most honest sellers (You know who you are!;) ) on this forum who get the goods delivered in 7-10 days!

Anyone else have any problems like or have a number i can call them on?

Its problems like this that make me think, and i'm really sorry to say this, is the IPT for real?

IIRC, mail order companies must ship with 48 hours of dinging your card.

Sounds like the IPT is in violation.

It was probably shipped by boat and not by air! 6 to 10 weeks is normal by boat. I have packages sent to me weekly from America and if I didn't need it yesterday, I have it sent ground "BOAT" for 1/3 the price of air. Even express mail like FedEx can take upto 1 to 2 weeks especially if customs get involved with it.
I'm sure the IPT didn't dishout the extra cash for express air OR air freight unless you paid extra for it. Just my .02 and not a defender of the IPT!

IMHO, the real problem here is the lack of communication. These things can't always be avoided: shipping delays are not always controllable and orders may be misplaced from time to time, etc. However, prompt responses are an essential component of basic customer service.

You're dead right about the lack of communication. I would have been satisfied for a reply to the emails i've sent just.

Call your credit card company and refuse payment if you don't get it in a few weeks.

I've waited 8 weeks so i'm not fussed about waiting a few more. I'm just more concerned that no one has bothered to reply to my emails.

Not to defend anything, but I do know they just hired a new Sales Manager whom I believe is in charge of that department. He is here in Vegas with a booth, so I will try and get your concerns addressed with him. They are doing everything they can to make sure things are straightened out, so I hope it gets resolved soon.

You did the right thing by going public with your dispute/complaint. Excuses notwithstanding, my experience of this 'outfit' is they are very adept at processing orders and accepting money. They are a somewhat deficient when it comes to fulfilling orders or sending out payments.

Yeah, at the time i was a little annoyed as to get no response from the IPT until yesterday afternoon, and bearing in mind I live in the U.K., I recieved a phone call from Deno Andrews apologizing for any inconvineince caused and advised that another copy has been shipped.

I have to say that Deno Andrews is a class act for calling me in the U.K.

I'm glad that you were able to resolve your problem. I talked to the new Sales Manager, Joe Aiello, and he told me that he would love a chance to make things right with anyone having problems.

You can contact him at jaiello@internationalpooltour.com or at the office at 847-439-2127. And you are right...Deno is a class act. :)

The DVD most likely is sitting in a custom's storage locker somewhere. I personally do not bother shipping anything out of the States, just too much trouble. Besides the high cost of shipping, and the slow boat it gets put on, there is always customs to worry about.

problem

I did not know that Deno had anything to do with the IPT:rolleyes: If Deno is involoved with them,I would pretty well say that the IPT is a legit organization as I have dealings with him before and he has always been a fair dealer.I do agree that not answering your e-mails is pretty darn rediculous. Not a good idea of customer service.

I must reiterate that Joe is brand new. I don't know who was in charge of Customer Service before, but I don't think they had enough people to accommodate their accelerated growth. They just hired I believe, 12 new people. :)

people buy dvds??

dont mean to be condescending, but i didn't realize people actually bought dvds anymore....... if you buy a dvd burner and get/download (try soul seek) the right program you can burn any dvd you'd like. i guess if you wanna see this sigel match somebody does have to buy it, but if you get a burner and a program you can split the costs with others.
