Posisjon on the white ball after break?

Posisjon on the white ball after break?

The best posision on the white ball after break are at middle of table(or is it not?), but that is not easy if you power breake.

How good are you to do this?
For example, 3 of 10, or 7 out of 10 or even 10 of 10 breaks?

Edit
Wrong spelling of "Posisjon":D
Posision was it, and this time i hope it is right :-)
My english is not my best, i hope you peoples can live / bear with me :p

If I'm breaking really well I can do it over and over again for an hour, or two without missing a beat. For the most part I would say 5 out of 10. This is of course with a lower break of between 20 and 22mph.

If I feel like going into a *how hard can I hit it* phase which I can hit 27-30mph once I get my timing down all bets are off on where the CB ends up.

Ok

How do you messure speed?
Is it a video, and use time & calc from hit on white ball to hit on play balls?

Or do you have a simulare speed limit gun(we call it laser in Norway, when police catch you when you over speeding), or something?
If sow, where to buy & prices?

There's an app for iPhone users called "Break Speed App" (made by one of our own AZers to my understanding) for $4.99 which is very accurate. It was used in a handful of professional events including (I believe) the US Open 10 Ball.

Oh, I like the white ball at the end of the table I break from...center table, around head spot.

When I am breaking good I can squat the cue ball near the center of the table most of the time. But I seldom use full power when breaking. I have found that on most tables I can get a good spread by hitting the rack at about 70% power. Give it a try and see how you like it.

How accurate are these messurings from app/phone?

My car...
It is a Audi RS4 Avant, Year model 2001. Black color.
With some up adjustments, compared original RS4 :D

Is it an M5 eater? What are the technical numbers? does it have a webpage?!?!?

Well, with bad clutch & flywheel & brakes I got about 7,8sec from 0-100-0. And about 4,5sek @0-100(all bad things are change out)

And now, bigger turbos, more fuel in, bigger air filter, other software, light flywheel & stronger clutch and 380mm/12 piston caliper brakes(and more), and with this I hope for better numbers :-)
HP above 520-540hbp @engine(not dyno for last updates).

And with 4wheel drive it is no problem to kill most of M5`s from 0-100

Posision

Mr. I loved how you spelled Position.... I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just LMAO at how I find myself pronouncing it the New way you spelled it, too bad you couldn't of put a tilda' on it somewhere. It's great...............

The technology and coding are sound in the break speed app... there are some issues on different devices if they have auto sound leveling like a blackberry... In a quiet room my blackberry was within a 10th of a mph of several droids but when it got noisy the droids always outperformed it.....

Like other ppl said just download the Break Speed app. It's a pretty cool program. You can find out how hard is your normal break and how hard can you break when you let it all hang out.

The most useful part of the app is that you can make small changes in your break (bridge length, backswing, ball placement etc) and get instant verification on how it changes your speed. My best is 33.08mph. This was after spending all day tweaking my break just for power. It was a lot of fun.

Yes I have download it, but I am not home(@ work for 14 days now).
Looking forward to try it out(with my new Predator bk cue :D )

Now I can try to record my breaks and fin out what is most effective for me and my breaks

Check out Ceebee's Avatar in post 15.It's called "The Break Rak".It is one of the best and simplest feedback devices ever developed for pool.It sets up on 7-8-9 ftrs and allows you to break over and over without having to re-rack.

Works great!
