Possible millions in pricemoney in a new World 8-ball Tour!!!

Will any of the poker that will be involved in this be played in person? If it will all be online, what will stop a strong poker player who doesn't play pool from teaming up with a pro pool player who sucks at poker?

If you can't lick em'

I'm still trying to figure out what pricemoney is! j/k

I don't know what to think about the marriage but I do know that most top players like as many "fluff" players as possible.

Pool n Poker!

Pool n Poker, I think its high time they got married, hell they been going together forever anyway!( pun intended )

You never know how it will work until you try it, I don't really seeing it hurt the game and if the prize money gets up there it maybe what we all have been LQQKing for!

Shuffle Up N Deal!!!!!!!!

What the hell does the pool world have to lose? If someone is putting up that much $, then let it rip, and I hope they get a return. Poker is huge and although the field may be diluted a bit, I bet there's going to still be a lot of strong talent as the field narrows.

Wouldn't it be great of this brought Keith back? Who knows the potential of the stories that could come from this? Exciting, if you ask me.

Best of luck, please keep AZBers in the loop.

isnt that funny how someone is stealing my ideas, i have been in talks with pokerstars over this,

We already have this...ITS CALLED THE APA! Why should we spend millions gambling online to suport some overseas gimic. The APA pays out over 1,500,000 in prize money and You meet great people and have tons of Fun. I'm not a big fan of apa but it is the best thing for pool going. This is a terrible idea promoting gambling and I'll bet the casinos are overseas also. The pool world has been thru enough with these gimics (KT)

I think alot of B players are going to try there chance...
The word is spreading quick!! i'm getting several emails from poolplayers talking about it, wich means you must be doing something interesting...

I really hope you get enough interest in this, and you can lounch this. I just hope it wont be another IPT thing. It just looks to good to be true :D

Will this be held in france or all over europe or the world?

Can you give some info on how the online poker will be held? fulltilt, partypoker, etc? just curious :p

The only thing i still miss is more info... What hour will the qualifiers be held? step system? How about hour differences in between country's?

Bonne chance Vincent d'un cousin Belge!
Merci Solartje,

Right now I need as much players as possible to be able to make deals.
I've allready spent some money to start but I don't want to spend to much if nobody want it.

So right now I haven't choose any poker room and for the pool tournament the first will be in France or Monaco and then hope everywhere.

All the best,

Vincent,

Is money all we care about? How about recognition as a sport, possibly entering the Olympics? Does pool really need to become poker's biatcch?

I don't understand the obsession about lack of prize money in pool. What do those players expect? To be payed out like golfers, tennis players or soccer stars? It won't happen...ever. If you want financial security for the rest of your life, Im sorry, but neither pool nor poker is the way to go. You're gonna have to get a job and work for a living.
There are extremely hard sports out there who pay very little. I can think of decathlon in athletics, triathlon, nordic skiing...but you see, those guys love what they do and don't complain.

I understand your point of view and I know that not everyone will like this concept. I'm just trying to do something I like and hope that some of the pool players will like it too?

Sportively,

Vincent,

With this format, Jay Helfert is a LOCK to win the whole thing! Combining his pool and poker skills in a regular tournament....Mosconi's 15 World titles could be in jeapordy of being surpassed!

I bet Jay is SALIVATING with hopes that this comes to fruition!

poolpok

Dear All,

Thank you for all the players who already register.
Just to remind you it's free to do so.
I'm glad many of you like this concept and are willing to help me to spread the words:thumbup:
If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I wil do my best to reply.

All the best,

Vincent,

this idea is a joke. Who wants to see a bunch of poker players banging balls around?
whats next a round of golf to qualify to play in a 9 ball tournament?

Poolpok.com

Don't you think anough good pool players are good poker players as well?
I know a lot of good pool and poker players myself and many of them have already registered.

Best regards,

Vincent,
