I recommend you use Scot with Proficient Billiards as an escrow service.

I don't know the seller but they look legit to me because they've been a member for a long time, have bought other pool related materials, and has camera dated recent photos of the cue.

Now the cue is another story. I don't know enough about the early South Wests to tell if it is one. It looks good, but who knows? It would have to be authenticated by Laurie Franklin.

I can tell you its a real SW. Its not one of the very early ones...but early. It does have the wrong bumper. The giveaway as to why its a real SW...look at the ferrules...old Micarta. Its a SW.
