I e-mailed the seller asking about the photos and for their phone number - we'll find out soon enough. I would like to go and meet them, if you know what I mean.

I would have to say its real but 30 K is lot of money even for that cue.I dont know if there are enough collectors,investors around that there is room for appreciation at that price.I may be wrong but i have been wrong before.
Anyone want to chirp in?

It's definitely has the right color combination to be a real Gus, but I think the seller just wants to see what they can get for the cue and doesn't really want to sell it at this point in time.

From a speculative point of view, if this is indeed an unplayed "brand" new Gus Szamboti, from a collectors stand point it would have to be the nuts. Sometimes you need to overpay initially for the gems that are out there, because there arn't that many. The cue has alot of work in it, although I know alot of people do not like MOP. I think played this cue is a 20k cue so I don't think that 10k extra for a MINT condition cue is out of the question.

I think there is only one person here capable of getting this cue (at quite a bit less I think). If he keeps selling me his crumbs don't be surprised to see a big GIF picture of this classic Gus on A-Z pretty soon.
