Post All the Stuff You Want to Sell or Trade

About a year ago, there was a thread that suggested that we post all of the stuff that we had for sale or trade. There has been quite a bit of play on the "Wanted/For Sale" section of the forum lately, so I thought this may be a good time to strike up another thread of this nature.

I'm in the market for a new cue, and a sneaky pete of some sort. I also have several items that I would like to sell or trade, so I will start.

Meucci Sneaky Pete. The guy that I bought it from said that he bought the cue around 1980. I called Meucci and gave them a description of the cue, telling of the weight bolt, inspection sticker inside the butt, etc. They told me that it is definitely a Meucci and very old. I thought the collecting value may be as much as the playability value, but the cue plays great. The cue is straight, and the shaft wood is some of the best that I have ever seen. The finish on the butt has some flaking, but all in all, it is a pretty nice cue.

Whitten 2x4 black textured leather case. Like New. It's a Model 42-F with strap, 4x7 and 4x15 pouches, handle, and shoulder pad. The only time I use it is if I go to a big tournament. Otherwise, I use a less expensive and lighter case.

I have about 8-10 low end ($) new Break/Jump cues (several different styles) that I have installed phenolic ferrules and tips on. They are great breaking and jumping cues and they look great. Solid Maple. For overall value, they are hard to beat.

Cases - I have (2) 3x6 cases where the butts go on one side, and the shafts all go on the back side. I also have (2) 1x1 cheap cases and (2) soft 1x2 cases, most new, but all in excellent condition.

Last, my playing cue was made for me by Jimmy Reeves in SC. He has Larry Nevel working with him as well. He makes a great hitting (and an attractive) cue. It is Cocobola with Maple points and designs in the butt plate. It has a phenolic joint and radial pin. It is a great looking and playing cue. The hit has much more feel than most Predators do, with the radial pin, and with the shafts custom fitted to the butt.

Up until a year ago, I played with a steel jointed cue and maple shaft. I decided to try a Predator shaft to see how it affected my game. I got Jimmy to custom fit (2) Predator shafts to the cue that he made me and match the ringwork. Well, it has been a year, and after much deliberation, I have decided to try a maple shaft (and probably steel joint) again. But I would like to relieve myself of some of my pool inventory instead of putting down many more $ on another custom cue.

All trades and offers considered. Who else has pool inventory to unload???????????

Mike

I'd be interested in the Whitten case.
What would you be looking to get out of it?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Cues I want to sell...

I got a Blud sneaky, a Lucasi sneaky, an Excalibur sneaky, and some small cuemaker's sneaky with two shafts.

I am also wanting to sell my Jazz cue, made by Tony Bautista in the Phillipines. Very nice cue with two shafts and alot of inlays.

I am going to try and get some pictures posted tonight...

Needing to sell off some cues to finance another Titleist I am buying.

Any interest in any of these?

can i have some info on the spec of the cue? any pic?

I don't have any pics, but it was made by Racinchaison, some guy off of ebay. It came with two shafts, one has a phenolic tip, the other a leather tip. 5/16-14 piloted shafts. Weighs around 19 ounces. Makes an excellent breaker. Has a very stiff taper. Asking 65 bucks shipped for it with both shafts.

Yeah, we were talking about a swap involving the Whitten. I told Mike to talk to you first. No, no. No thanks are necessary. :p

Jazz cue

Tony Bautista from the Phillipines made this cue under the name Jazz Cue, dated 04.

*Comes 2 shafts. 1 13 mm diameter and 1 12.25mm hard rock maple shafts with industrial PVC ferrules
*Pigskin layared tips installed
*18.9 oz weight
*Balance point is 2" from the joint handle
*Pin 5/16 x 14, flat face
*110+ inlays of Amboyna, Genuine Elephant Tusk Ivory, etc.
*Handle is cored spliced maple
*58 inches
*Comes with Amboyna/Ebony protectors

Cue is very pretty and has a great balance. 1 shaft has been turned down from original pictures here...no nicks or dings.

Looking to get $450 shipped for this cue. It retails close to $1200. Just selling to make room for another titleist.
