Post your Szamboti Cue

[all Barrys.

My B.Szamboti has nothing on what I see here.Nice; very nice.My buddy might trade me his and a Gina for a toy car I have that I never finished. Then I would have a picture worth posting here.Let me take some time to get my jaw off the ground.CA always has the good stuff.

I have a plain 4 pt gus and ithits fantastic. It gets played with and has the nicks and dings to show it. I break with it sometimes when im too lazy to bust out my break cue. I even sandpaper my shafts on occasion

I probably should get the award for most abusive gus owner on az.

heres proof not all szambotis get put up in storage:

Lets see some closeups of this player.

Those Barry's look familiar on the bottom table pic, I wonder where they are now? :)

The GSB at the top I played with for about 45 minutes back in 91??? I opened it up from when Barry wrapped it up, I was the first player to ever hit a ball with it, unless Barry tested it. I could have bought it for around $6500. I would have used it as a player cue, But I didn't pull the trigger :( . It has a great home these days.
6500!? knew i should have charged more!
'91!? how long have you known barry?
and you just started buying his cues in the last couple years?
gus's & gsb1 in top pic went to the man from outer space.
barrys went to some skinny kid.

Joe,

Your cue/case is the nuts!

Matt

Thanks.. not bad for a 33-34 year old cue. My late uncle, no matter how hard he tried, could not retire it. He played with cues from a lot of guys and couldn't put this cue down. The longest he went was 3 weeks with an old Palmer which he swore was damn close. He won a lot of tourneys with it, the week before he died he beat Basavich and a few others at a local A tourney in Rockaway NJ.

The first time I took it out, the very first time, I hit a break and run for 2500, so that to me was just karma.

Once in a while... lol.. I had witnesses and I didn't make it look easy.. quite the contrary, I made every shot harder and harder...

But I split the bloody wickets on a tough 9 chap...

Lol, I was going to ask to buy the cue but you had better keep it...its a magic cue

Speaking of Rob Zombie......I watched the Devils Rejects the other day...check out the credits at the end....Seed Of Memory by Terry Reid...what a kick ass tune that is!
