I'm wondering if any others have felt inept and frustarted when they attempted to post photos of their wares. If any forum reader has a simplified approach that can be plainly spellled out for the inexperienced, I would benefit from it and I think otherrs might as well. Other forum members have assisted me in the past by posting my cuen photos but I'd like to be able to do that myself. I was told to use the website....www.picresize.com to reduce the size of the picture(s) files but I am not even sure what to do afterwards on the AZ website to actually post any smaller picture files. If anyone has a simplified explanation, I would very much appreciate their advice.

Open your picture with paint and press ctrl + w. It will open the resizing option. Resize the height and width both to 50% first. Then resize it again at 80%. After those two steps, picture should be less than 100 kb. If not, resize further until it's less than 100kb.

Then, simply click on manage attachments button when you're about to post your thread. :D

Create a photo bucket account, upload pics, copy "image code" and paste in thread.

If the pics are on your computer first make a copy before you resize so you have the original intact. You may need to resize it to get under the 100kb limit. If you have microsoft office picture manager it's easy. Right click on the copy and choose "open with..." and choose office picture manager. On the right it will tell you how big it is and resize if needed.

Then click the paperclip icon and hit "browse". Go to the picture on your computer and hit upload. Once it uploads close the box. The put the cursor where you want to insert the picture and hit the paperclip again and choose the picture.

If you are trying to upload a pic from the internet, find the web page with the picture and right click on the picture. Choose "Copy image location". Then go to your post and click the "insert image" icon (the one with the mountains to the right of the envelope and paper icon). A box will open - place your cursor in the box and right click and choose paste.

Thanks For The Helpful Advice

Thanks for the really helpful instructions and suggestions, as well as the PM messages offering assistance. I'll give it a try this upcoming week.

use imgur.com, fast with no account necessary, no "bandwidth exceeded" nonsense, built in editor, and, my personal favorite, no deleted pictures. I dont know about some sellers but I like to look back on cues that have been sold. Of course, use the link with

This is exactly how I do every picture and its fast and easy. A lot of times you dont have to resize a picture if its copy and paste to paint but when I plug my camera into my computer to get the pictures off of it I have to resize all of them. Its still easy though. Open the picture in paint, click resize on the top toolbar, resize to 30% and then save. Simple as that, I can also go a little bigger but 30% works best because you never have to move the screen from side to side when viewing the pictures in a thread. This may not be the same for everyones camera but eventually everything falls into place. Posting them is also easy enough. Manage attachments, browse, open file location, click on what you want then upload and your done.

I use Flickr, but imgur works well.

I dispise photobucket because of the interface.

Pick a service and stick with it. Choose one that allows for direct embedding, large photo sizes, never deletes your photos, and is free.
