Powder

A properly sealed, properly maintained shaft, eliminates the need for a glove.

A pool room with proper air conditioning, humidity control, and ventilation will maybe cure the powder problem. It is like a sauna in most places.

the lady who allegedly died as a result of using the J&J products was using ones containing "talc" or "talcum powder" such as J&J's "Shower to Shower".

baby powder, like many of us use for pool is not a talc product but, rather, it's a cornstarch based powder.

these are generally safe to use unless you get it all over my table.:grin::eek:

weird. all of my siblings, my cousins, my nieces - babies generally use Johnson&Jonson's talc baby powder. every household here in the Philippines probably has one.

I checked the small one I keep in my case as well as the large one in my bathroom and both say "pure cornstarch" on the labels.

Don't know what might be going on there in the PI.

I grew up with powder in pool rooms in the 50's and 60's. Back then nothing was bad for you!

I don't use it and carry a glove in case a shaft gets sticky. When I put it on a friend asked me if it helped me "moon walk".

I always ask the people I know who wear gloves: "whats with the glove, are you cold?"

we have cornstarch too, but we use it when you get rashes during the summer when it's really hot and humid at the same time. there's also one with aloe vera and cornstarch to keep your skin cool. otherwise, it's talc. is it already prohibited in the US?
