Practice what I Preach

Oh what a time to stand up for what's right. Color me hopefully leary. Not afraid but caution.
So I have considered a goodbye dear forum post....but nah. 🤷‍♂️ What would we have done? Being here is the answer.

Spread the knowledge organization of progress is under way. Stand up speak out.
So caution this link but my Religion requires me. 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes I take a stance.
Now my pictures bounce. Go figure 🤷‍♂️ Oh well. It's a fine 3 point stance. With legs spread Ala Cole.

Well the story I found indicates no drama just a cordial apology for promoting his coach over Hendry. 👍
Ah Hah, I had suspected perhaps Kyren might be looking at the white when he hits it, well lately. Knowing the relationship he had with Barry makes it an interesting study. At the 37 minutes mark the camera work on the break off shot provides a good look at his eye pattern. His conversation with Hendry makes me think he adopted Steve's method with the eyes while the rest of his form and method is pure Barry Stark.
Lots of good looks at both players eyes on various shots. I still have no opinion on Neal Robertson. I will study him next.

Ah the morning fitness calls for Re medial training. The short draw horse shoe from my first Mosconi book. A short shape draw drill to develop precision cue ball.

Shoot em in order. No rails allowed. Go

Ooops didn't take long to eliminate the no rails. Sheesh I am rusty and uh possible rattled. Got my ass kicked by a Little Girl. 😉 She was a really Big little girl. We had a Hella battle in the first game of the 8 ball tournament, race to 2 first match. I prevailed in the first game after some serious safety, well uh double edge shots with safety considerations due to difficulty of available shots. The second game she broke and ran. Not your ordinary connect the dots lay out either. An ugly puzzle at the start. She solved and it required precision cueball. I lost the 3rd on a bad call by our requested Ref. 🤷‍♂️ I knew I could lose that way but it was just well it was a challenge with my cueball on top off my intended ball. A papers width apart but pointed to the heart of the pocket 4 feet away. I could not resist a shot that was a big challenge but, well I just had to see. I made it work with ballpark shape by playing it as if they were frozen. By jacking up to pick A type elevation and making Smooth stroke with neither a double click or prolonged carry. I was sure of the purity but the Referee.....he disagree. Oh well. She had ball in hand on the 8 ball. It had been a Hella battle to get to that point. Her skills are substantial. I just hope she won the Whole enchilada.

Ronnie's insights in this clip made me reflect on my outlook on tournament play. I often struggled early on. If I survived the early discomfort I could be sure I was on my best game in the finals.

The frustration of not being able to perform to the level I once experienced is a fact. Being a recreational player as opposed to a professional player makes it easier to accept. I have never broken a cue but have suppressed a similar emotion on occasion. 🤷‍♂️ Well I did launch the cue across the parking lot at closing time on one occasion. It was secure in its bullet proof case however. I so wanted to blame the cue. 🤷‍♂️ As soon as it left my hand I realized it wasn't the arrow. Now when I feel the frustration it's easier to laugh at my less than optimal performance. Easier but not gerunteed.

Well it's Study Plan

The cue held at balance point measures my distance from the white during contemplation. The Steady Plan
The Sight Aim is the next dance step.

My brain likes the Slight Aim tongue in cheek. 🤷‍♂️ gotta stay amused somehow 😉

Of course Put it In is a fond loss of virginity flashback.

And we'll when it comes to That topic.....I like to watch. 🤷‍♂️ I wanna see the interaction between tip and ball.

I have always felt that shooting. Well in the beginning Learning to shoot with the other hand benefits my right handed shooting as well. While struggling to develop co ordination with the left and striving for optimal balance and mechanics I have become aware of weakness in my form with the Right hand. 🤷‍♂️ So even if the other hand isn't up to snuff it's struggles still help the dominant hand.

Anyone ever seen the movie Se7en with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman?

There is that scene where the break into the killer's apartment and find all those journals that was just nothing but the killer's "mind poured out on paper"...

This thread reminds me of that.

Okay, so we'll when I was a child I never attended Band Camp but I drank a lot of milk. The carton, well after we stopped getting it in quart jars in a box on the fence, said "Our cows are outstanding in their fields."
My Experience as a Basic Cadet taught me that I didn't want to Stand Out while in ranks. It could net a Special Inspection. 🤷‍♂️ those were not often pleasant.
So I strive to be outstanding without standing out. Some might think of it as Hustling or Stalling, I think of it as Stealth. Oh if I could have had a ride in the SR-71. Driving a B-52 for half an hour was kinda cool though. 🤷‍♂️

My home court was the Seed 2 in Bellevue when I started shooting with the left hand. I had been employing my strategy of Never make more than 3 balls without riding the money. I was still killing the ring game. So the offer to shoot with the other hand kept the game going. Well for a little while, it didn't take long for that offer to be rejected. 🤷‍♂️

This made me laugh. What is going on??

This is a thread that mgmt allows me to frequent. 🤷‍♂️ Kinda like a kids table at the big holiday meals. 🤷‍♂️

So if you got to the kids table and there was only one kid....and he was huge ....And friendly. He's got the look my dog gets when I bring his meal. Would you
a. Sit
b. Look under the other chais for shoes and clothes
c. Just Run Out
Edit: oops forgot the meme.
