What tip, ferrule, LD shaft, joint type, butt taper, cue weight and aiming method combination will make me a pro with NO effort?

I sort of have an answer for you. Although nothing is going to turn you into a pro beyond lots of practice and a little talent, having a cue you have confidence in is a nice perk. I play with a cue I built for myself about 15 years ago and over the years have tinkered with it a bit. I haven't done anything to it now in maybe 10 years other then change tips. When you have a cue you trust even when you may not be very sharp is a nice feeling and one less think to have to think about. What tip, ferrule, LD shaft, joint type, butt taper, cue weight and aiming method combination will make me a pro with NO effort?
Ok, don't tell anyone else but here is the magic formula:
7 and 1/2 layered tip
cross laminated shaft of sunken wood recovered from a lake
piloted flat faced steel phenolic joint
a thin taper but on the thicker side
cue maker must be deceased
wrapless leather handle
ferrule length of exactly 0.56436725" made of hollow circus elephant tusk
use only green kamui chalk
throw in some arm weights for good measure
You can join the pro tour immediately upon acquiring the equipment.

I know, easier said then done, just look at the equipment struggles of Tiger Woods and not everyone has the luxury build themselves their own cue.
So my answer is, see what you like regardless what others may think. Listen to advice but learn to trust your own instincts. The cue should be a part of you, whether you are playing good or bad. The cue should be an extension of your will and do what you ask without you having to be conscious of it. I honestly don't think I even feel my cue when I am playing, I just play.
I have to say, when I see guys in the course of a match changing cues or changing shafts, seeming not to know what feels good anymore, I feel sorry for them. I know because just like everybody I have been there. In the early 1970's I got a new Ginacue. I don't think of all the cues have owned, I ever had a cue the played so well right from the start. I put it together and never gave it another thought as I played it was so perfectly suited to me at the time. I also had a $40.00 Palmer that felt almost as good, so it doesn't always take high end to feel good to you.
I don't think you posed your question very well, but I think everybody is looking for the same thing whether hey will admit it or not. They buy $25.00 chalk, $30.00 tips, $200.00 shafts all in the search for magic.
Damnit to hell. Does the elephant REALLY have to have been in a circus???
Maniac
None if that matters. Go to a deserted beach, find the bottle, rub the hell out of it, and if a young Barbara Eden pops out, you got pool and life by the balls. Your every wish will be granted. No need for all the gear you listed.
I'm gonna have to get me one of them lucasi's!
I've been hearing about yours for a couple of years now...and a bottle of water!

If a young Barbara Eden pops out I don't need no stinkin pool cue.
