Prayers for Jimmy & Freddy

Asking each of you to pray for two of pool's greatest players trying to overcome dreaded diseases. Jimmy Reid will have surgery Wednesday Freddy the Beard will start treatments soon and both could use our prayers, good luck to both .
 
I knew nothing about the health issues with Freddy - I will definitely be adding him to my prayer chain. I just got off the phone with Jimmy Reid - he sounded very upbeat and positive about his upcoming surgery.
 
I've been praying for Jimmy's health for awhile and I'll start praying for Freddy also. Keep your heads up guys! You two can beat this!
 
Two of my favorite characters in pool. Both dedicated to passing on their wealth of knowledge. Both willing to talk with novice fans. Both can tell a story like no other!

What's happened to Freddy? I knew about Jimmy's health issues but didn't realize that Freddy had some health problems too. Best wishes to both of them and hope that they get better real soon!

I just got off the phone with Jimmy . i left a post here asking for prayers. i didn't know about Freddy . i wll keep him in my thoughts & prayers as well.

Two of my best buds forever. Love you both, you two crazy guys! We did have some fun back in the day, didn't we? :rolleyes:
A couple of good memories. Jimmy tearing everyone up at the Rack in Detroit and cruising back to L.A. in the sweetest '69 Caddy convertible he'd bought with some of his winnings. We cruised up and down Sunset with the top down, two wild and crazy guys who didn't have to work for a living. Ha Ha
Freddy charming all the outlaws and gangsters in South L.A. These guys fell in love with the smooth talking white boy. He was King of the ghetto back then! ANYTHING he wanted he could of had, FOR FREE!
