The "Preview" story (here: https://www.azbilliards.com/preview-michigan-open-presented-by-samsung-tv-plus/) says the open (men's) event is 5 days, ending Sunday the 24th, while the women's event is 4 days, ending Saturday the 23rd. The match listings show it as just the opposite, with the open event ending Saturday and the women's event ending Sunday. That makes more sense, as the men will have a lot of players traveling to the US Open. And all of the prior 64-person open events in this series have been 4 days. But brackets or match listings are not always accurate days in advance, so I don't know for sure.

Yes, the latter is more likely as with past events where the women's event finish after the men's. It does say now that men's end 23 and women end 24

I watched the last few games of the Gomez Lechner match. They played well, it was fun to watch.

I think CSI production has been growing steadily over the past 15 years. They are now on Samsung TV's station (apparently, I don't have it to test). The only weird thing I see with this coverage is the commentators almost sound as if they are remote and on a Skype call.

Ah; good that they updated it.

Looks like Chang JL forfeited his first match. Maybe he is skipping this event and going straight to the US Open.

Another bizarre foul call by everyone's favorite referee:

Wow! In full speed it didn't even look close to any issue. And going frame by frame (right carrot key on the keyboard) while zoomed in on the 5, the 5 definitely does not move in the slightest.

It was even that thin of a hit on the 3 (I think it was). Not sure why he thought he grazed the 5. Max's response should have made him 2nd guess himself.

These guys out trying to make a living. It looks like they may FINALLY be getting decent racks, but giving up ball in hand on bad calls, when there's video available is brutal.

Savannah roadrunner live now:

Can see why the call her roadrunner- she's the fastest mover around the table

Next up:
Quoc Hoang Duong v Jeremy Seaman 630pm
Vitaly Patsura v Alex Kazakis 8pm

It's interesting, she actually seemed much slower than her normal self during this match. I wonder if she was making an effort to be more deliberate to try to play better. I'm just guessing!
