Wow - What a great tournament! I loved seeing old friends, making new ones, and meeting the AZers I post with every day! Everyone was so nice, especially the players and the staff of Bankshots, I may have to consider moving to Jacksonville!
Tony Robles, Frank Alvararez, Thorsten Hohmann, Ralf Souquet, John Schmidt, Tony Crosby, Charlie Bryant, Tommy Kennedy, Johnny Archer, Rodney Morris, Max Eberle, Mike Davis, Gabe Owen, John Ditoro, Troy Frank, Luc Salvas, Mika Immonen, and Ronny Parks... a group of (almost) perfect gentlemen lol! I'll talk to some of you before I see you again, but I'll miss you all! (Special hugs and kisses to Tony R, Frank, Toasti, Ralf, and John!!)
Frank, thank you for the wonderful case. It's refreshing to know that there are other Christians involved in professional pool. I'm so looking forward to Vegas!
Dave Sapolis aka Blackjack (thanks so much for the book!) and Shane Sinnott (Platinum Billiards): y'all are awesome... and that Timberly... ::whew:: nice and good-looking! BTW, Deadstroke, thanks for the "hottie" reference... I did have some "interesting" conversations this weekend! My fave pickup line was probably "So... I've got lots of money." LMAO
Karim Belhaj and Philippe Singer of Predator Cues took Toasti, Ralf, and me on a tour of the Predator plant and we got to measure the power of our breaks (or lack thereof, in my case lol). I look forward to working with them (and Allan) in Vegas!
Stan Shuffett, it was great meeting you and I wish all the best for Landon. I'm sure I'll see y'all in Atlanta.
Jeff and Joan Scott (Bankshots owners) have one of the nicest pool halls I've seen and can't wait to visit again.
Everyone had a great time after the tourney at Toasti's house (the dome) ... though I was the first to fall asleep lol ... and Shane, I'm already retelling the Moby-Las Vegas story, but it's just not as funny as when you tell it, of course. You're going to have to post it!
Sorry if I missed anyone - it was an overwhelming weekend! I'm still going through pictures, but will upload them and post a link soon!
