Predator Aerorack

I'm thinking about buying a Predator Aerorack but have not seen many reviews for it. Looking for opinions -good or bad - from anyone who has used one. Thanks

Works OK, but my Diamond Plastic rack works just as well. I like it for 8 ball and really dislike it for 9-ball. But then again for 9 ball I prefer a template rack, specifically the Outsville Accurack.

I have one. I use it for 8 ball, but for 9 ball I just go with the magic rack. The good part about it is that it's big enough that you can get the balls tight and still have plenty of room to push it forward and up without hitting any balls. The bad part is, if you're a straight pool player, it's HUGE around the sides.

Worth the money? Probably not, to be honest. But I am always buying things I shouldn't be :)

I have one, picked it up in Vegas for a 100 bucks. Rarely use it but it looks cool. I mostly use my wooden diamond rack while practicing and magic rack while playing.

These are the best I've used. The PD logo is incidental. They're all over and around 10 bucks when in stock.

Still find it surprising any home gamer bothers with racks anymore. Template or why bother imo.

But I guess if it's all you own and you want to satisfy the 14.1 purists. Then you have to draw that odd shape on your table with a sharpie...lol

The Aerorack is a prime example of form over function in my opinion. It’s kind of bulky in size which makes it cumbersome to use. And like someone mentioned previously, I’d be concerned about excess cloth wear from the small feet that come in contact with the bed. The diamond plastic rack that came with my table does the job perfectly.

I have the plastic diamond too and it quickly became my favorite triangle.

Coz the template gives false proficiency readings!

I just got the Accurack templates from Outsville, I understand they were invented by a guy here on AZ Billiards, I could be wrong, they are the best racking tool in MHO, after seeing so much on the pro tours on TV it took no time to learn how to use them, tried them out for the first time last night, they really do work, there are some other products like table savers ect. designed to help you protect your cloth.
