Like other pool shots, the break is mostly the Indian and not the arrow.
Still - I'm seeing a lot of fuzzy words.
Words like "usually" and "pretty well" and "decent results".
Most players rate their performance by a "general impression" instead of cold, hard facts.
We tend to overrate our game (not knocking you, I've done it too).
How high are your standards?
If you're a C player, making a ball 60% of the time in 10-ball is great.
If you're a top pro, 60% is a shitty night.
If a pro thought he could make a ball on the break just 5% more often by spending $300,
he should jump on it. For the average player, maybe that's not worth it... most players
could improve 5% by just slightly changing their technique.
