Tried the new tip from Predator today. I installed a hard tip and it played very well. It played very good but will probably be as expensive as Kamui. But still I was impressed.

If they're going to be as expensive as Kamui I hope they play as well. I doubt it though. They don't have the experience of Moori or Kamui, but they do have a tonne of money so you never know.

I'd like to hear how they compare againts a Kamui or Moori.

I had a brown Kamui medium soft on my wd700 before installing the Predator. I like to have just a few layers left on my tip and I thought I might as well try a hard tip and see if I like it with more than three layers left.
It played very close to my three layer medium soft, which I also break with.

My cue repair man really had to convince me to put a Predator tip on my Mezz shaft. I have played Kamui for a long time and have been very satisfied.

But the playabilityVictory tip surprised me.

Are you saying a Predator hard plays like a Kamui MS?

Where do you get them anyway?

My description was weak. My old ms kamui was very worn down. 2,5-3 layers left on it very hard. That made me want to try a hard tip from the top.

The hard "Victory" tip from Predator played a bit softer, keep in mind the old kamui was used to break and play with.

I'm not very good at pool but I like to buy stuff. My local dealer hooked me up. He got the stuff early.

Cool. Presumably they'll be ditching the dreadful Everests.

What is wrong with Everest tips? I have been playing with them a couple of years and no complaints. I have never heard anyone complain about them. Just curious.

then you have the perfect solution :) if they work well for you- fantastic.
I also never had a problem with an everest. Played it 7 months and it played great.

personal preference, nothing else.

Horribly mushy hit - not good on a Predator. I've never known anyone keep one on a Pred, but as Ratta says, it's all personal preference.

i played an everest tip on my carolina, after cutting half of it off and "hardening" it (i break mostly with my playing cue) it played nice.

now i play moori m and im happy with it :) if you find something you like, stick with it

the problem with moori is some play good and some play horrible. You need luck to find the good ones

A friend has put a Black Heart on his Pred and it's terrific (although it has mushroomed badly).

Personally, I'm done with Moori AND Kamui.

People say this about Triangles and LePros also. They say it so often that I've begun to wonder if some players aren't just blaming the tip for their own shortcomings... Food for thought.

Order on the way..

Awaiting the arrival of Predator soft tip, once I get it installed I'll give my review..

Im currently a Kamui Black tip enthusiast, as I've played with all kamui blacks from ss,soft, medium, hard. Kamui black soft is my favorite tip ever , tried moori, talisman med(brown/black),sniper,everest,kamui brown med, and many more, kamui "imo" out shines all of them.

Im interested,as many are to see how the Predator tips stack up to rest of the tips available..

I ordered one from seyberts today, I noticed there is predator chalk now too which made me crack the hell up laughing, actually almost made me not buy the tip. Hell while we are at it...how's the chalk?

Does the predator tip on a predator shaft with predator chalk play better???
