Tried the new tip from Predator today. I installed a hard tip and it played very well. It played very good but will probably be as expensive as Kamui. But still I was impressed.
I had a brown Kamui medium soft on my wd700 before installing the Predator. I like to have just a few layers left on my tip and I thought I might as well try a hard tip and see if I like it with more than three layers left.
It played very close to my three layer medium soft, which I also break with.
My cue repair man really had to convince me to put a Predator tip on my Mezz shaft. I have played Kamui for a long time and have been very satisfied.
But the playabilityVictory tip surprised me.
Cool. Presumably they'll be ditching the dreadful Everests.
What is wrong with Everest tips? I have been playing with them a couple of years and no complaints. I have never heard anyone complain about them. Just curious.
i played an everest tip on my carolina, after cutting half of it off and "hardening" it (i break mostly with my playing cue) it played nice.
now i play moori m and im happy with itif you find something you like, stick with it
A friend has put a Black Heart on his Pred and it's terrific (although it has mushroomed badly).
Personally, I'm done with Moori AND Kamui.
the problem with moori is some play good and some play horrible. You need luck to find the good ones
So has anyone else tried them? Anybody have some for sale? I'd like to get my hands on one.
