Ugh. Apparently I'm the only person who has ever seen mdf successfully painted.

I've seen lots of mdf successfully painted as it's used for trim alot in houses. I've also seen what happens to mdf when it gets wet. It does not hold up anywhere near as good as solid wood or plywood.

Right. Wet. I never argued about wet. Humid and wet are different things.
I don't think I would use it anywhere that sees high humidity for long periods of time though. It might hold up better if it's well sealed.

The room would be wise to invest in those shitty purple 5 ball racks if they had the correct table.
So now flash forward to today, and what everyone currently knows about the Predator 9ft pool tables, what would you say about that design engineering team now?
When was the last time you've EVER heard so many complaints about a new pool table, bragged about like it was the next coming of Christ or something, going to strike fear into all the other table manufacturers, Diamond in particular in your case!!
I called it before the tables even hit US land, pieces of shit, and nothing but problems!!! I dare ANYONE to defend them after the tournament failers they've promoted!!!]

Is this a recent picture? I know they are having a big tournament and the tables looked well used a couple of weeks ago. I would have liked to get a swatch of the old cloth to get an idea of how it would look in my house, under my lights.Intermission.

They don't sponsor a tour, they're all SALES events, don't you know the damn difference!!!
And for your information, I have the outside sponsors, I'm working on the live streaming platform right now! If it was so easy to do, maybe YOU would have done something about it already, but like everyone else, the negativity runs out your mouth like a bad case of the runs!!!
The streaming platform has to be able to support PPV as well as monthly subscriptions to cover the SVOD playback, and if you CAN'T show the sponsors how they can earn a return on their sponsorship dollars, you won't get shit from them! What do YOU have to offer? A hand to beg with for money to support this sport!!!

Yes. l took the pic the same day posted. A few more tables had been completed the next day.
Overheard they have a big tournament this weekend, Fedor is in town.
This is the fact of the matter that no arguing, hating or crying will change.
They have the $$$ and they are investing in our Industry, PERIOD. I do not see any other manufacturer doing any type of tour like it in the USA. Not Brunswick, Diamond, Olhausen(they do have a "commercial" table) or Rasson. Valley does have their own league and tournament, so I guess that counts.
Progress takes time and support, not $hit talking or complaints. Developing anything new is going to have it's ups and downs. I appreciate what Predator is doing. They are surely trying hard to make things happen. Happy to see they are working with Matchroom!

True sponsorship of this sport has nothing to do with introducing a new line of pool tables, a new line of balls, a new line of cloth! They're all introduced for sales purposes, to make a profit. This sport already has tables, balls, and cloth currently in use, what it don't have, and desperately NEEDS, is SPONSORSHIP money from OUTSIDE of this industry, then, and ONLY then, the sponsorship money can be considered to be real, and NOT just another way of milking this sport, the players, and the fans!!!
