All had very special knowledge to offer, and I'm sure Efren and Franco will be just as fantastic.
Did you just call Busta, Franco?

The thing about Efren and Busta is, whenever they try to help someone, they almost always are showing what the right shot is or what to do in some situations.
I've seen them gang up on Santos and Santos was just scratchin his head for not thinking of the right shot. This is Santos Sambajon, mind you.

Yup, we call Busty Franco.
Tony Robles started calling him that years ago back on Camel Tour days. Makes me laugh everytime he says it.

Are any of these guys recognized instructors? It sounds to me like charging a fee to hang out with them. If that's what you want...

I doubt that any of them are as good a teacher as Scott Lee.

And what the hell are the "secrets of Filipino pool"? Oh, right, they're secrets - never mind.

You hate their success? Envious maybe? Or just plain jealousy?

Your views really surprise me. For several years, Tony Robles has been one of the most active and sought after pool instructors working today.

Thorsten is very bright, articulate and plays all games. they both have been very generous with their time in giving insightful advice and tips...including to me personally...for FREE (because of a very close mutual friend).

Re: Efren and Busta, one would literally have to be blind and/or profoundly ignorant not to learn valuable lessons from them.

Learning is a function of the quality of BOTH teacher and STUDENT. Any good STUDENT will be able to elicit very valuable pointers from them even if they have never taught a student...in a formal setting...in their lives.

But I suspect that they both have been active teachers/mentors to any number of up and coming players...especially Philipinos.

With ALL DUE RESPECT to Scott, who spent a day in my home attempting to pound some knowledge through my thick skull...this session will be a Master Class of historic proportions.

Regards,
Jim

PS: I have no financial interest in promoting this session and in fact, it will COST me if I can possibly change some long-scheduled commitments.

Thanks for all the help Jim. Gerda emailed Predator and is going to try to come. She says she wants to stay strong this year as she starting out #2 already.
Korean woman's champ Yu Ram Cha might also be attending the school.

So we'll have two pro women hopefully which will be nice and easy on the eyes.

and ill be there, so thats 7 pros, maybe we should do a pro tournament as well.

Yu Ram Cha is hot!

Still 11 spots left with 9 registered.

There are 23 additional people on tentatively reserved list looking at their schedules etc.
Huge email blast going out Monday from Predator and DP to 12,000 people.
I think those 11 spots will be gone soon....

I will be there to run the school and cracking the whip on the instructors.
If an instructor needs my help I'll be sure to lend a hand.

Charlie,

You phoned me around 11 today. Could you please call me back. I'm sure you have my info. My name is Kerry. I am interested in signing up. Please give me a call back.

Thanks,
KMRUNOUT

Poison rep Shanelle Loraine may be joining the school in Jacksonville.
She will be a lovely addition for any fans attending.

Charlie...

How many spots are left?

Charlie saide there were 9 spots left but now with Jay going there should be only 7, which of course includes Shanelle and Jay.

I know now with all of that championship advice, I'll have my hands full with Jay when we have our match.

Who knows maybe Jay will stay distracted enough not to learn any new pool secrets.

Can you imagine hearing the answers to all of your pool questions from this group?

Scott Lee, get ready to get out your wallet. :D

JoeyA (was VERY close to celebrating his birthday with the other students) but thought it would be better to save my nickels for THE GINGERBREAD MAN. :D
