I wonder if Earl is the player who took the least time off throughout all his years. Archer I felt retired 10 years too early, he still had a lot of game in him, IMO. These guys were all Efren and Busty speed. Those two were winning all-arounds at the DCC in their 50's.

Phil Burford came out of the woodwork for this one. He hasn't been heard from in over five years! Maybe he had a real job :). Very good player from Great Britain.

Yes, I noticed him too. I saw him play in person in Atlanta it must have been about 2010 when he jumped on the scene. He won a big regional tournament beating Archer in the finals.

it's building up to mosconi cup so i guess fans will be more tribal for a few weeks. filler will play roland garcia next i think

On-line pool chats are all like that. Most of them are Cheeto's munchin' orange dick porn addicts. i don't think 20% of them actually play pool. well, maybe pocket pool. ;)
 
Wow what a turn of events.
Favorites Filler and Yapp headed for final date after big wins over Gorst and Chang. But Garcia and Konrad crashed their party and blew them both out of water in straight sets :LOL:

Final at 5pm will feature 2 lesser knowns who have never won an event in this tour
 
I enjoyed the commentary of Mark White and Erick H. a damn good player himself, who manages to stay under the radar. Well done!
