Can anyone tell me what type of glue to use on the new predator 2 shaft? I have been using Gorilla glue but it appears to be melting the ferrule , it works on the rest of the tips i've done on other cues and worked well but not this one. Any help? Thanks My bad here, im using Gorilla super glue. Thanks for the input i will buy some Gel . Thanks again to everyone...............

LocTite Super Glue Gel. $2-3 dollars a tube at homedepot and almost any hardware store. Super high quality stuff. Best you can use on your tip. in my opinion:thumbup:
 
Why're you using gorilla glue? that stuff expands too much for cue work. at least that's what i thought when i used it for other jobs.

generic loc tite works for me. glue the tip and ferrule. let them dry then sand both surfaces and then glue them together. never had a tip come off on me

Ding ding,your dead on,the best stuff for tips but make sure you prep the tip and the ferrule real well before using this stuff.30 seconds after putting on a tip with this gel you can start hitting balls.

Plus one here on the Super Glue Gel. I love the stuff. I've tried a lot of other
glues for tips, and this is by far the best. :thumbup:
 
Loc Tite super glue gel

Loc Tite gel, I've used it a few times and never had a tip come off either.
 
I've been using the gorrilla glue " super glue"

not the expanding glue, on tips for the last coupl emonths, not had a tip pop yet, also no problem with melting pred ferrules......

most gel super glues are good too, as well as med to thick CA glue
 
Loctite ultra Gel. The one in the blue bottle it has a silicon base to protect from shock and vibration. Best there is IMO.
