Predator SP * point red F/S

I would gladly send you the $125 to resolve this but there is a hold on your money now in paypal. Withdraw dispute and ill refund you and you and don't even send me the shaft.

Ok, I'll do that right now.

Edit: Dispute closed even though Paypla suggested waiting for the refund to be made before closing the dispute.

Refund sent.
Again I'm very sorry.
I did not intend to hurt or get over or even upset anyone.

After looking at the video. I am to blame for this unless something happened to the shaft after shipping.
I looked down the cue rolled it together rail to rail.
Maybe my mind was not in the right place.

I looked at it quick and said to myself ok$200 predator.
Thought it would be good for a bar player or something.

This will never happen again.
Thanks Rich

Really? Why would it be necessary to contact the seller FIRST? The cue was purposely misrepresented and thats all there is to it.

If it was questionable, I would have contacted him to see if it could be made right. Why do you people always think it's ok for someone to screw you and then ask for forgivness? No, forgivness is reserved for something that was done unintentionally.

If I punched you in the face and then said I was sorry, does it mean it was ok to punch you in the face? No, it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

I have NEVER sold something without disclosing any issues it may have. Has it cost me some money to be honest? Could I have described it differently and sold it for a higher price? You bet. But I can say that when I sell something I look it over and describe it to the best of my ability. The seller claims to deal in high end cues. Would you buy a high end cue from someone who describes items like this?

Look, the butt was described as being used and having some bumps and bruises. I get that. But what constitutes "some"? Is it 3-4? 5-6? Or maybe some is 100+ like this cue.

Additionally, take a look at the video I posted in post #8. Do you think that is "excellent shape".

Giving someone a chance to "make it right" is only applicable when there is a slight discrepancy because we all seem to have a different of opinion as to what "excellent" is. But a shaft that is warped beyond playability is far from excellent.
I just think you jumped the gun and I am sure others do also, and then there are others who might have done the same as you did and tear the guy a new one publicly, people are different along with the views they have and how they handle situations. I know I try to represent the cues and give good pictures the best I can but sometimes what I might find to be acceptable rollout in the shaft is a warp to someone else and my idea of good condition might not be someone elses either.

I have sold hundreds of items on here and have had a couple transactions that did not go smooth as a buyer and a seller but all were worked out privately to both our satisfaction. Personally I would have just sent a PM saying the item was not as stated and ask for a refund before posting on here but that is just me. As he said he thought he described it correctly and his track record is very good so I doubt he was trying to get over and being dishonest to move a $200 cue especially when he is selling a $3000 Tascarella. BTW, if tjsupra2003 wants to sell it to me for $150 I am a buyer even in its not so good shape.

Tjsupra2003, Green sent your way for handling this properly. Your Itrader should not be tarnished until you were at least contacted first and given reasonable amount of time to reply. Considering you have some higher end cues for sale I didn't think you were trying to beat someone out of 200.00

Agreed. Matter should of been looked at in private. Not sure who ends up looking worse in this whole transaction, but I have an idea where most people will lean. Nice job assuming the worst and using patience over a $200 cue.

Good work tjsupra. You handled this better than most would have. With that being said, I'm sure in the future you will err on the side of caution in your cue descriptions. See, a lesson learned makes it all worth while.

it one of my business but i would actually like to see a video of the shaft rolled on a pool table...

mostly likely, if it is, i think there would be just a very slight taper roll

rolling a shaft on a non-pool table like that will tend to exaggerate warpage of the cue as the dining table or such wont be a true flat surface.

I bought a used cue from rich (tjsupra2003) a couple of months ago and couldn't have asked for a better transaction. He has also been more than helpful in answering questions not related to the transaction since. You can see my post in the sticky for more details if you like. Hate to see such a great seller/person have their Itrader tarnished.
