When doing the straight backs, I thought with a slow rolling ball the angle would be wider than the hard shot without english. In the video, if I saw it correctly, you hit both hard and soft with no english and did not adjust your aim?? I have found firm hit balls to shorten up on a bank.
Please explain.

Complicated
That requires a lengthy, complicated explanation. I go over those exact points extensively in my DVDs. Cant explain in a sentence or two. My premise is that hitting a ball hard and easy will both take a natural 2 to 1 mirror angle off the rail. They both did the same thing in the DVD clip, right?

Freddy.........Just got through watching the preview on your new DVD "Banking with the Beard". It looks as though you have out done yourself again. This is going to be a must have video for anyone wanting to learn the essentials and then some of the proper technique for banking.
I can't begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed and learned from your book "Banking with the Beard".
Anyone not having the book should also order it as well. It is one of........ NO! it is the "BEST" source of knowledge on pool of anything I have seen and I have read most everything out there. It is very well written and easy to comprehend. And, it covers just about everything that has to do with banking. And, everything works just like it is explained. I can only imagine the number of hours Freddy worked putting it together and keeping it simple and understandable. I take it with me everywhere: to the Doctor's office, in traffic, at the coffee shop, by the crapper...........man this is a must have if you want to learn why balls react the way they do when they are contacting a rail. I learn something new everytime I pick it up. It is chocked full of knowledge.
Do yourself a favor and buy the DVD and if affordable get the book also. I don't want to sound redundant but it is the "NUTS" and this guy deserves a lot of credit for sharing so much banking knowledge with his peers.
