Priority Mail

Yes, but every now and then the postal service loses track of their 'priorities', and your package can take a couple of weeks

Was it sent with tracking? costs 50 cents extra unless you print the postage on line...

It can take longer than the "normal 3 day priority" if it is coming from or going to a remote area then it can be 5 or more days. The 3 day priority delivery is usually very accurate but not always.

read the fine print

Priority Mail ain't necessarily so. If the airplane is full it gets thrown on a truck to meander across the country stopping hither and yon. I do like Priority Mail however I find that shipping across country usually takes two to three days or if it is any longer it is usually several weeks. Seldom any medium time of travel. I have had it take over a month several times, once it took several months.

On several occasions it took a week or more for Priority Mail to travel seventy miles, not really bad since the enclosures were alimony payments and I had proof I had sent them on time! :D :D :D

The 50 cents extra is just for delivery confirmation. It does not actually track it. All it does is tell you whether it was delivered.
By the way guys the Post office clerk told me yesterday that new rates and such go in to effect on the 14th. Not really sure what it intails. But there will be some changes some combining of global and priority and some increases.:(
