I agree totally tried that when I was younger and like most that are under the influence I actually believed I was being helped by some weed! :rolleyes: now I know it was just like most people who use any kind of drug Self delusions! :(

What you meant to say was my brand of humor is not appreciated by you, and your right it is a public forum if you dont like something dont read, everything in here is an opinion anyway. Besides opinions are like assholes everyone has one. So chill out if things get to heated in here and you all get offended because of something someone says you should just hit that big X in the top right, and go back to nitting class

Just to throw in my 2 cents worth. If the comment was funny or was a parody of reality that would be one thing, but it is just plain stupid. Of course, if Jude, Black Jack, etc. had just ignored the comment and dismissed it as childish, which is what it is, not many people would have paid any attention to it.
Don't give up your day job for comedy.

Well heres your change, just like Jude, Blackjack, etc you couldnt ignore it either. So now who is childish, in fact i may be a little childish myself, but its cute and it works for me but i m not going to take my ball and go home anytime soon.

Oh yeah Jimmy, those Starbucks we had at the tournament really helped us in our next match, lol. Neither of us could make a ball! And to think I used to do drugs and play, unbelieveable!

Back to the topic.

I was doing some research on the whole BETA blocker thing, and they are used for multiple purposes.
Not only for heart issues, but for anger management, anxiety, etc etc. All of which have been discussed.

The one thing that i found very interesting, is that if you have allergies.

Say asthma....or you are allergic to bee or spider bites for instance.

You can die rather easily if you have an allergic reaction.

If it happens to be a situation where your heart needs to be sped up by say a shot of adrenaline to stop the allergic reaction to a bite or sting, or you have an asthma attack and need to take your inhailer. They won't work because of the beta blocking mechanism. They are rendered ineffective.

Wow, I didn't know this. I find it very interesting that betablockers could do some harm to you. But you explanation makes sense...

They're drugs...and drugs have no clue if they're illegal or not, they just do what they do.

Perhaps the terms, "enable" and "enhance" would be distinctive here. If a drug or substance or whatever you call it "enables" a person to play, then it would be ok. An example is Jeanette's pain killers for her back: they enable her to play.

However, if a drug "enhances" one's play then it should be not used during sport's competitions. For example, meth enhances one's abilities to play during the wee hours. Wait...no, it doesn't, it enables. OK, how about the beta blockers...don't they enhance one's play? Then there's alcohol...does it enable or enhance...or neither? Me thinks my distinction is falling apart.

It's a start anyway...anybody else have a comment? No man, I'm too stoned to think about it.

Hey--I tried this and it didn't work. The directions said take the pill and wait 1 hour. When the alarm went off--- I couldn't remember why I set the alarm.

I saw this AIDS prevention kit once. It consisted of a bottle of water, a bottle of bleach and a condom. The instructions said “ Boil your equipment for 5 minutes and then soak it in bleach”

...after that I’m still not sure what the condom was for.
