I was jumped on by a few people for saying I beat a good player playing weak handed even though I'm struggling to beat the 6-ball ghost 10 ahead sets on my brutally tough table. In the Stevie Moore vs Dennis Hatch match Dennis shoots what looks to me to be about a 650 accu-stats rating, never making more than 5 balls in a row unless I missed something. Stevie got going and shot something around 870. Playing even with the 6-ball ghost requires a theoretical accu-stats rating of 857.
That's Dennis Hatch, one of the best players in the world, playing on an EASY table in a big match very late in the tournament, after no doubt beating a slew of world-beaters. Shit happens...
I guess this was loser racks? They couldn't seem to freeze the balls since the nine was shooting out all the time.
