Here I am getting all excited about a Slivka vs. Wiseman match and they ain't even playing -- at least not yet. Each of them has to win their next match to face each other.

Thanks for the updates. Luat is going to be TOUGH for Slivka. I'd like to see that one too! :p

Harriman V Park

It's 4 to 2 Park. At 4-1 Park jumps the cue ball off the table on the break, Harriman gets up and runs out in less than a minute. Harriman just broke and made 2 balls on the break and he is still at the table.

Very nice place! I spent the day with the gal watching Jeanette and some of the others play and all I can say is wow. It was my first time getting so close to players at this level and the thing that struck me the most was how polite and laid back everyone seemed. A far cry from the ridiculous drama on some league nights! :D

Jeanette was a real professional. Even after her loss to Ronnie Wiseman, within minutes she was happy to pose for a couple pictures with folks and sign autographs. Again, I was awstruck by how down to earth this group of professionals were. They all deserve to win.

Got to meet Da Poet! What a great guy, it was a pleasure to be able to spend some time with you! Thanks for stopping by to say hello!

Holy Wise Man, he's going to get there! Go Ronnie! :)

JAM

I just showed Ronnie this post by you. He said to tell both you and Keith "Thank You very much for your support, he appreciates it"

Harriman Up!!

HARRIMAN is UP 7-6 over Park. He broke and ran the last 2 racks coming out of Park's cigarette break. Harriman is back at the table looking at his 3rd run out as I type this.

Eydie,

Keep those awesome match results coming in!!!! They are putting me at the edge of my seat!!!!

I went to Pro-tyme quite a few times during the summer and I absolutely loved it...it is truly a classy place deserving of its accolades. In fact, I am contemplating getting the owner to refinish and re-level the tables at my university.

I'm sorry we never got to meet --- I went for the 9-ball tourney that one week that you weren't there...and the expensive (to a college student) entry fee, long drive, handicap system as well as the, *ahem*, regular winners kept me from going back....but as DMGWALSH can attest to, it sure is a great place to shoot some straight pool!

I hope to eventually meet you in chicagoland!

Harriman Smoking and ON THE HILL

Harriman just broke and ran 2 more for 4 straight break and runs. He is now up 9-6 and ON THE HILL!

Harriman Wins Last Match

AZBilliards own Danny Harriman,

just broke and ran out the last 5 racks to win the winners side of the qualifier here at Pro-Tyme!!!

Park awaits to play in the losers bracket finals.

Congratulations Danny, You did it!

I hope, he wins this thing. I just wonder, if he'll remember all of us here at AZB, after he is a big time IPTer.

Luat won 10-9 over Slivka.

Slivka did a great job and should be extreemly proud of his accomplishment here. I enjoyed meeting him, and look forward to seeing him around for many years to come...

Luat is about to play Wiseman.

More to follow..

Wow, when I saw Jam's message earlier about Jerry and
Ronnie playing each other I thought she was seeing in the
future. Sad for Jerry but what a match it must have been.
Thanks again Eydie for the great coverage, hugs and best
of luck with the rest of the tourney
