Product review: Freddy the Beard's new DVDs

I just bought the new DVDs by Freddy the Beard called "Banks that don't go - but do!". I have watched them both about three times each so far. Before watching these DVDs I considered myself a pretty good banker, and without even hitting another ball I feel like I am already better! He shows you some secrets that take years to learn on your own. I can't wait to go to the pool hall today and try them out for myself. Thanks Freddy!

Thanks for the thread Eric. When I posted my "review" the other day, I was tempted to "bump" it, for 2 reasons. One, I really like Freddy a ton and want to help him plug his books & DVD just for the sake of helping a pal, and two, because these REALLY ARE GOOD STUFF! For all of us who love pool, this IS a great product. Just watching the DVD alone and never intending to do them yourself is like watching a great exhibition or bank trick shot show. Factor in that we who shoot can now add these to our arsenal, plus all the fun that's goes along with practicing these shots and it's a pool lovers dream.
Friendship aside,if these were duds or a waste, I would not publically recommend them, but they really are worth every cent and more.
 
I only got his book, Banking with the Beard. I've read it about 4 or 5 times. I think it is awesome. I tried to get his other book, The GosPool, but it was out of stock. I didn't even know he had DVDs. Where can I buy them?

I think that he mentions putting his books to dvd later. If you learn to shoot just one of the trick banks on these video's, they're worth the price paid. There's a shot on the second video that I have played with off and on for years with no much success. I haven't tried to shoot it since seeing the videos, but I would have paid the same price just to learn that one shot.
