Hello,
I know the pics are not very good but these are just a few snapshots of a pair of matching cues that Pete Omen is doing for me. It will be a pj cocobolo and a matching j/b.
The final color of the cocobolo is far from final. It was bright yellow and now is light orange and it will turn into that bright redish cocobolo :thumbup:

Thanks Jeff.
I asked Pete to make thinner rings and made sure he incorporated also cocobolo in the rings.
The pair of matching j/b and playing cue will be awesome! The wood is just about the same on both of them :D
 
I've seen some beautiful orange cocobolo and it really accents the grain much better than the dark cocobolo, but they are both very nice looking......

Wow. Natural cocobola butterfly points all the way up the forearm. I like that with the right piece, Pete lets the wood do the talking.
 
Nice... Pete really does like using that kind of ringwork... Any pics of the break jump??

I am getting both cues only sometime early next month. The wood on this one is awesome!

Hay Tony what's the ETA on that thing? you going wrap-less or wrapped? you'd be hard pressed to find a prettier wood in the world than a nicely figured piece of cocobolo. you got a winner coming your way man

Hey Mark and Sam,
The wrap will a brown lizard print or the real deal. Not sure yet :)
ETA would be sometime in the middle of next month :frown:

Hi Tony,

I would go with the real deal! That cue is going to look absolutely beautiful. Let me know how it plays after you get it! Maybe you can keep this one!:p
