For sale - porper model b lathe

Due to the economy & health issues, I am reluctantly putting a Porper Model B lathe up for sale.
New circuit boards.
Asking $3,000.00 plus shipping & insurance.
Payment will need to be a bank cashier's check.
Package will include some fullspliced blanks & shaft dowels.
(some other building tools & materials)

Odd ... I bought a new one about 8 years ago for a little over $3000 and I did not feel like I was stealing anything.
Had to spend a bit more on tooling for it.

If you have everything that comes with a new machine, that's a savings of a little better than 28 percent, not counting the wood you are offering, Sounds pretty good compared to retail,

Got a possible buyer.
If deal does not go thru with him......
I will repost lathe up for sale.

He has two weeks to come up with the payment.

Deal did NOT work out....lathe up for sale again!!!

The possible buyer for the lathe package could not come up
with the funds.

So.....first one to come up with the $3,000.00 bank cashier
check & is willing to pay for the shipping/insurance gets

ONE GREAT PACKAGE.


Also, If the buyer can pick up the lathe package at my home, I will include the CRAFTSMAN work bench the
lathe is mounted on. ( over $100.00 value )

Also, There is about ~20+ hours of dvd cue building
instuction that is included with the lathe package.
(Hightower/Barringer/Diekman/Unique Produts)

This is one great package for one to get into
cue repairs & cue building. Even just as a hobby.
You can make a steady income just doing basic repairs.
Tips/Ferrules/Wraps/Clean & Condition Shafts
Then later...you could build basic sneaky pete cues.

Willee that same lathe new will cost $4295.00 Plus shipping today, prices are on the rise. I also think that the this is a really good deal, without considering the extras, I wish it wasn't so far away I would buy it, I could use another one.

You do not tell me on three different dates....that
you are sending the rest of the payment for the lathe

Thanks to joewag2 (Joe Wagner) for a very smooth
transaction.

Third time is a charm!

After two prospective buyers that did not work out,
it was a great relief to find a honest buyer (paid cash)
