Just had a refreshing experience and wanted to share....

About 3 months ago I bought a GTF case from Roy, paying with a CC. The case was on sale but the card was already charged full price so Roy mailed me a check.


Last week I get a voicemail from Roy.

"Ian, I just was going through some cc records and realized you overpaid for your case, please call me to confirm your mail address and I will mail you a check".

Roy didn't realize I had already been refunded the money and went out of his way to try to send it to me.
Not that I am cynical but in todays world I think very few business people would call to discuss sending out overlooked money.

Roy is a really cool guy. I always enjoy talking to him on the phone, and if I'm ever looking to purchase something and he's got it in stock he gets my business first. It's great to know there's people like him in this crazy world.
