only if you buy predator, mezz, cuetec.. their prices have increased a lot. but there are plenty of inexpensive options out there

I'd guess not even one of them gets entry fees and travel help. If they are a top player, they get a salary and some free product (cues) that they can sell to supplement their income. In the case of an elite player, that annual salary can be well over $100,000 per annum and possibly much more in the case of a Filler, Gorst or SVB.

Based on my conversations with top pros, cue deals have become increasingly lucrative in recent years.

That is why I liked the Make It Happen tournaments put on by Pat Fleming. The players had very little expenses. I contributed to a number of them when I had more disposabe income.

Yes, they were great and I, too, was a contributor. Of course, for an event producer, these "free roll" events are a little tougher for making financial ends meet.

Yeah, I’m sure Shane is getting taken care of very well by Cue Tech. I’ve also heard that Viking basically made Fedor Gorst an offer he couldn’t refuse. But I’m sure he’s doing pretty well and I’m pretty sure filler is getting taken care of by predator.

Triple 60 wouldn't be selling doogie-do without Gorst becoming the first brand ambassador. I admit I never would have given the brand a look if not for him. Nice shaft, but I re-sold it.

I've tried a bunch of shafts over time. I eventually settled on Longoni after doing side-by-side comparisons, but I never would have looked at Longoni if not for brand ambassador ... Niels Feijin.

My first decent cue was less than $150 in 2020. Got a used table for $2,000. My pool expenses haven't been huge. I only need one table, two cues (play and break) and a decent travel bag, really.

Technically Gorst signed on with TheRackGroup, they own Seyberts/Viking/WhyteCarbon-Triple60.

As stated before, every players deal is different. Some help with entry fees and some don't. Some pay a set amount of money and some don't. It all depends.
