About an hour ago, talking to the guy who said he put Cliff in, Cliff withdrew because his g/f was giving birth at the time.

For some reason, I have always liked Andam. His demeanor at the table and his style was always easy to watch.

I also heard his health was an issue a year or so ago, but he's said to be on the mend. Do you know anything else about him?

I saw Ginky's name pop up a couple times before the Open, thought he might be warming up but I don't think I saw his name in the brackets.
 
At one point during the netcast Danny D was asked by Jimmy Wych what was up with Hatch? Danny said He was working with Dennis Hatch, and could not understand why he did not enter, but that was Dennis....you just never know.

What about Mark Tadd? Remember him? He had amazing spurts of genius pool. Tang Hoa was not there too.
