Prulhiere cues with CORK wrap

There are standing members here that could vouch for or comment on the quality of this man's cues. If you glance through his feedback, you will see some very familiar names. Perhaps they've not had time to notice this thread.

Cues look very nice IMHO.

I noticed one in particular, when i first saw these cues on ebay a month or so back. Never did get around to asking him.

I have a simple question I have always wondered about. Does a cue with cork wrap slide in and out of the case easily or is it any problem?

I can answer this as I ONLY use cork on all of my cues and have for several years. There is ZERO problem with sliding of cork in and out of your case. It's not tacky but does have an amazing feel and I love the fact that it absorbs moisture from my hands.. For me, there is no better wrap..

I have a Lomax break cue with cork stained black and my shooting cue is a Jack Madden with Black stained cork as well!

I use a CA finish. I think it looks real good, but I would still like to get an even higher gloss. To tell the truth, it is a hand finish and it is good and shiny, but some of the big names are a little better in the gloss. Don't get me wrong, I am not telling you they don't look good, just an area where I want to continue to grow.

Where are you located? In USA or elsewhere? Do you make the cues yourself including spliced and inlayed points forearms?

i know you posted that you prefer to use 3/8x10 into wood...

but do you make other cues with other joint configurations?

also.. i was just looking at your ebay auctions and the joint in your header caught my eye.. what type of pin is this?

thanks..chris

I am located in Indiana. I don't usually do spliced cues, and my inlays are cut by hand. Yes, I make them.

Pictured in that header is a 5/16X18 pin with stainless joint.. When I started, I did several of those. I do most 3/8X10 now, but can still do the other upon request.

another Hoosier cue maker!! I have been playing pool all my life in this state and never knew how many cue makers we have!! I think it's great, and I hope to pick up a cue from you one of these days and check it out!!

Best of Luck!!

I know PM's are the best way to handle things but as a new cuemaker to the forum, IF YOU CAN, please write a review about them as I am very interested in trying his cues too.

I first want to know what the cuemaker gonna say...because I need to know his anwers..because I don't wanna attack him right now here on AZ
