When I moved to Toronto in my 20's - a naive kid in a sea of whales; Paul was one of the first who greeted me. I had known Paul through reading local news, but never met him. Frequenting the local tourneys, I'd often bump into Paul. One night; I came in with a plain JOSS sneaky...Paul was outside and saw me carrying it - asked to see the cue. Immediately scolded me for disrespecting such a decent cue.

Told me to wait for him as he hastily walked away. Couple minutes later, returned and gave me a brand new case (which I still use). This is just one example of how great of a human being Paul is.

I will send you a PM. Thanks for the story- amazingly there are many people with similar stories of Paul giving them cues, cases etc. He is a treasure.

I have one. I was in Toronto for work, first time being there.
I was looking for a pool room that was downtown as that's where my convention was. PT told me if I could find a way north he would meet me at the room he managed.

I was on foot so I was unable to get together with him. I let him know I did not even bring my cues, as it was a business trip. Paul said he would give a cue to play with and I could keep it. :cool:

Once I returned home I made him a mini cue for his offer.

You don’t have to like the nurses, but just do the crap they tell you to. A lot of them are douche nozzles, but you can come back stronger in spite of them.

Marshal your strength. Life changes and you won’t be the same, but it doesn’t mean you are used up.

But, you have to put in the work. Move, grow and live. Or Sit still and get decrepit.
