Either it's a twist on one pocket or you're talking abount bumper pool.

Thanks. That's a great read. Corners, I was raised in that part of the country only about 50 miles from Joplin. Amazing I never heard of the game before now.

Anyone with a little extra time in Feb, who are also going to Tulsa for Gabe's one pocket Tournament, could easily make a trip to Joplin (about 2 hours from Tulsa) to see a part of our games' history. Go up Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44) take exit #6 (I'm pretty sure) turn north about 2 miles. OK bar is on the west side of the road. Who knows, maybe you'll get a little action in a game of Corners.

Having played 1-pocket a fair bit I gotta say that table would definately make the game alot better. I never liked the pocketing in the sides and upper corners and spotting of balls aspect of the game and also without the pockets there some of the banks that would become possible would be awesome. The 2 other corners and sides actually remove alot of 1 rail and multi rail banks that suddenly become playable.
That said at this point you can remove the last two pockets and start playing an even better game then 1-pocket.

Unlike1 pocket, the picture shows that the balls are racked on the opposite end from where the pockets are located.

The only thing I can think of is a bumper pool table without the bumpers? How are the pockets positioned?
