Hey guys..I have a quick question regarding flea bay..I sold my Gilbert on there Sunday..Someone from Indonesia sent me the money and the feedback was good..However when I got home sunday night around 3:00 AM ebay had TKO ed the auction saying someone had high jacked the persons account...The shipping address is not verified what should I do?

I still have the cue..and I was trying to sell it for furniture for my new apartment...and now I don't have time to put it back on ebay or I think it would hurt the fact that it was just up there and everyone saw it sell and to relist it now probably wouldn't be as good..paypal told me to hold the cue to make sure the funds were valid..so I am

My first sale on E-BAY was a cell phone for $300.00....It was paid for from Indonesia with a pay pal account in San Francisco....I sent the phone to Indonesia and 2 weeks later pay pal withdrew the funds saying it was a bogus account...Pay pal does not guarantee anything shipped out of the USA so I stoppped shipping outside the US...
I guess some accounts are good outside the US but in this case I would not send the cue..........
 
I just had the same thing happen with my auction for a $2500.00 Gold Bracelet. The winning bidder's account was in Maine, but his account had been hi-jacked by a scammer in Africa (he used "Buy-It-Now", so I was not allowed to cancel the bid). I was suspicious because the account had "0" Feedback, so I waited several hours and, BINGO, eBay cancelled the auction and sent me a message stating that the account had been hi-jacked and NOT to send the item ...

The Thief then sent me a "fake" ebay Trust & Safety message stating that "It was all a big mistake and now it was okay to complete the transaction through PayPal ". There's only ONE big problem, I CLOSED my PayPal account a year ago because they STOLE $1300.00 from me and all of my listing clearly state in very bold red type ... "NO PAYPAL & NO EXCEPTIONS".

I immediately forwarded that message to spoof@ebay.com and, sure enough, that message was fake.

I am currently having a problem with a bidder from Spain who used "Buy-It-Now" on my Dishaw auction and insists on paying with PayPal. He has posted (3) Negatives for Sellers in the past 6 mths. becausue they wouldn't take PayPal.
I filed a Non-Paying Bidder Dispute and now just waiting for him to respond to eBay.

It's a rough world out there these days if you Sell or Buy anywhere on the Internet, not just eBay. BE CAREFUL !!!
