Question about Randy Mobley cues

Anyone know much about him or his cues? Trying to get a feeler on the value of one here locally. Ebony, curly maple points, ivory inlays at the top with 3 shafts. Just wondering if someone may have an idea what the value could be.

MHO is that Randy builds a great cue. I have played with a few and the hit seems to be consistent. He plays, not as much as he would like to, but, he knows what a cue should be. Ray Martin used one of Randy's cues for 2 or 3 years and had nothing but praise for it. Randy's work is flawless. I have seen them go up in value over the last 6 or 7 years.
And, as I have said before, Randy Mobley is one of the nicest guys in the business.
Again, just MHO.

I would have to agree with Steve above! I have played with his cues and they are great. I have played with him (when he still played) a long time ago and he is a nice guy. I know a lot of people around here that play with a Mobley and I have never heard anything bad!

there has been some mobley cues for sale in the for sale section.. they never ever last long and they seem to be moderatly priced and seem to be going up every day...

THEY ARE THE SUPER NUTS......i love mine:wink: ps new logo mobleys are the ones alot of people on here are after...i am sure all his cues play the same just for some reason the new logo is hot on the collector market..

I was told that he won't make a cue under $5000, now, so if you find one that you like, get it. Rod.

I've had just about every high end player out there and my longtime player is a Mobley. It just doesn't get any better.

i sold a 4 point with mother of pearl for around $3200 maybe 2 years ago
i would buy it back if given the opportunity

my guess is a nice 4 point with inlays is worth 3500

he has a great reputation, and the cues are comparable to searing cues, but for one reason or another, they sell for less

i personally would prefer the mobley, the work looks better to me,but i am far from an expert

Also add you never see randy s newer cues for sale inside the usa! That says something there!

If you can get one get it. New or old logo does not matter. You can always order a new shaft and have the same shaft as the new ones. I personally prefer the older shafts and I have both.

Mobley Cues

I just got off the phone.

I can get about 10.

A few PJ' & some 4 ptrs.

Any serious interests?

Michael
