Question about the Ginacue logo

I was reading the Blue Book of Cues and in the section about Ginacue it mentions that Ernie's current logo is a stylized "GC". However, when I look at the logo it appears to me to be a stylized cursive script of the letters G & Q (the handwriting type of Q that resembles the number "2").

Here's the logo:

Anyone know for sure? If it is a "C" I just don't c it. lol

Now I'm pissed off the GINCUE I bought was made by ERNIE GUITIERREZ not Martinez. Just Kidding, Snapshot do you even know who Ernie is?
 
My guess

I always thought it was a "GQ", the capital cursive "Q" that looks like a 2.

That's exactly how I see it, with the "Q" shorthand for the word cue: GinaQ. So I'm not alone! lol

I just wonder if anyone knows for sure.

grindz: I wish I could show you the rest. I got that pic off the internet as it had a pretty good close-up of the logo, but I only wish I owned the cue. The Gina I do own has been around a lot longer than that logo has. ;)

I know for sure. There is a stylized "g," a stylize "e," and then the "2" is purposefully a 2 because this is his second incarnation of Ginacue.

So then, if you are holding the butt upright, the "E" is lying on it's side (sort of looking like a "w") and is part of the lower portion of the "G", and the "2" is part of the "E"?

Part of the 2 is part of the E. The tail of the 2 isn't.

OK. Although alternatively, the E could be made out of the top portion of the G and the tail of the 2.

Yes, it definitely could. When Ernie described it to me, how I described it is what I thought he was saying, but it could be the other way.

He should be in DCC in three weeks, so let's all ask him then!!

gina bussiness

I think the Gina Business cards from the past are irreplaceable , got 2 . I locked them in a keep sake spot. reading Richard bk. Limited time offer- Competition cues"the Hustler" all Birdseye cue, 290.$ or the "Road Player" 450.$ Pronged cue. similar stuff. Too bad it's a Limmited time offer. mark
