Breathing
Might sound silly, but I am a 3rd degree Reiki practitioner.
Set yourself down in a quiet spot and make yourself comfortable.
Put your hands on your thighs and relax.
Tanden breathe, Fill your tummy up first before your lungs. This is a proper breathing technique that you should use all the time. Visualize energy running up from your toes all the way up to your head. Pause for a second and release it with your breath out and make it run down your shoulders, down your arms and out your hands. Visualization is kinda hard at first but not rocket science. It will come.
Intentions are very important in life so set your intentions while meditating to playing a great game and winning. Visualize yourself stroking the q ball and ob going in the pockets all the while winding yourself down.
It only takes a short time to wind yourself down a bit and soon you'll be able to tune out everything around you.
In other words Luke, become one with the pool table. LOL.
