Question about Wheat Cues....

I have been seriously considering buying a beater cue for the local bars and was thinking about getting a cue by Eddie Wheat. They MUST be a good cue for the money, they're all I read about in every section of the forum.

But, since I heard that they are made in China, I was wondering if any one has experiences with them warping. I don't want a Chinese cue that will warp once it gets here.

Any stories?? Opinions??

Sincerely,

Russ.....

Made in USA

Last time I checked they were made in Cocoa, Fla. I have one being built by Eddie and will let everyone here know how it plays.

Eddie, lives in Cocoa Fl, and makes his own cues. Some times thay come up for sale in some of the local poolrooms here in Melbourne, 20 miles up the road. Not a bad cue. Gool Luck

Excuse me but, I have sold many cues that were made in China. They do not necessarily warp just because they are imported.
Florida could be another story?

I've Never Seen The Invisible Man's Cue

The 7 Dwarfs didn't like Wheat Cues because they got shorted on the ARMSPAND.

Doug
(and Eddie didn't have enough wood to finish the Jolly Green Giant's cue)

*Alexander Graham Bell died while waiting for a return call from Varney.

Does that mean Varney gets to keep the front money??

The comment in red is plain BS. Why don't you just call the guy before you throw out comments like that?

Ummmmmmmmmm....because it was a joke???

Poolheckler, you started this thread, insinuating Wheat cues are made in China, yesterday. Thereafter you ignored other members' queries and remained silent till now. And now you want us to believe it was all a joke. I agree it is a joke, but the joke is on you, because, sometimes, we reap what we sow.

Since you opened this new thread while you were ridiculing Wheat in another thread in the Main Forum (Ed Wheat . . . lets get it on...), I've brought over a smidge from that other thread so the two are more properly tied together. Hope this helps.

Russ, you're a sweetie, for looking out for us, but you're so insincere. I just read your new thread over in the wanted/for sale section ("Question about Wheat Cues") Some forum members replied asking you for further info but you've neglected to answer. Apparently you've run back into to hiding after inaccurately insinuating that Wheat Cues are made in China.

Truly, I wish to thank you for validating the points I tried to make about you and your nuthanger group. I honestly believe your collective, disingenuous, anti-Wheat activities will help Mr. Wheat from now on. I really don't think reasonable people will easily forget those who make willfull, inaccurate statements about others, like you have done.

Do you believe that anyone will take you seriously again - what a joke!!! You have perfectly labeled yourself as an insincere, obnoxious little heckler. Congrats!!"
