Great Choice!

Great Choice!... You just can't go wrong with a Diveney. I've had him make me several high ends and they have all turned out fantastic. Just took delivery on my latest about 3 weeks ago. I know you will love it!.. BigJohn

Your avatar indicates otherwise.
His avatar indicates a great source of material FOR an avatar, wonder if he got lucky with more than the photos. :D
The photos of his cue are good also.

My Latest Diveney

Let me know what you think.

YOU REaLLY CANT GO WRONG WITH A DIVENEY!! I have played with mine for about 9 mo's and it has already paid for itself... I love the "auto Pilot feature" Hit of the cue... I tried few first and desided that the G10 pin was the way to go for me. Pat also refinished a shon cue that I used to have and I have even had the pleasure of visiting his shop. I can tell you this man is truely special!! I would put stock in him if I could because I feel a great demand coming his way... I have already had offers for more than 1000 more than I paid for my cue.

You did good with this one it looks great!!

I was browsing AZ when I came upon this!
GORGEOUS! I absolutely love it! And I kid you not!

WOW!

This is the cue I get Wed. from Roy at INDYQ, it has a G-10 Radial pin with Lake Wood shafts. I told Pat what I wanted and he built it exactly the way I wanted it. His craftsmanship is top notch and a great guy to work with. I highly recommend a Diveney, an awesome playing cue!!

Those are all nice looking cues.

Would you guys recommend the lake shaft or his regular ones? Is the lake shaft in general stiffer?

The lakewood shafts are definitely stiffer than normal maple shafts (assuming they have the same taper) - I have owned 3 lakewood shafts and they all hit stiff and hard.

Yes, very stiff hit. I had a lakewood shaft made for my Diveney and it was VERY stiff hitting which is what a lot of guys like and I wanted to try it out for a while but decided to stay with my Predator 314-2 shaft that Pat also made to fit the cue I had made for myself.

Ditto on most of the previously mentioned about Pat. Top notch guy, top notch cues.
