question for experienced players

Oh, goodness... don't know any other way to word this... I am hoping to find one with pink in the butt. (Laugh it up.)

I see so many nice ones but they'll have blue and I'd like something kinda feminine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know what's more feminine than this one:

And no...they don't fall apart like the cue elitists and bashers say. They actually play damn good with the right shaft.

My Schon (see ^ avatar) has "pink in the butt" ;) (pink ivory, that is).

Unfortunately, I spent about 5 years trying to find one of the 12 (or less) of these that were built and after finally doing so I'm not really looking to part with it.

They seem to build a fair number of cues with pink ivory, so you could probably find another if you keep your eyes open. Good luck!

pink in the butt....lol :D

I almost forgot about the original topic...

I have been playing for about 8 years.

I currently own about 30 cues total.

I have probably owned another 10 that I sold at one point or another.

I like to collect cues and I also like to try out cues from different makers.

I certainly agree that you can't shoot with a totally different cue every time out and have any degree of consistancy. When I'm playing seriously, I always use the same cue.

Lost count

I currently have an old SW, Schon r-13, Rick Howard, and a Libra. I have had more than I can remember. Scruggs, 2 Motteys, Phillipi, 2 other SW, 6 Schons, and many Meuccis McD's Joss Falcon Predator etc. Probably forgot a few. Currently have 2 SW's on order but it will be 5 more years.

Marissa, I'm hard at work trying to locate a stick to meet your "pink in the butt" criteria. I think I am about to get my hands on one.

Eight Cues for $125

I've been playing for 36 years. I own eight cues.

1 Falcon cue
2 Joss cues
1 Brunswick Cue
1 Meucci Cue
1 Viking Cue
1 Cuetec cue
1 Capone cue

I won two of them in the Corner Billiards Straight Pool League in NYC, I won two of them in The Annual Tri-State Invtational event in NYC, I won the cue raffle at the 1997 WPBA Brunswick New York Classic, I won the cue raffle at the 1997 New England tour event in Chelmsford, Massachussetts. One of them was a fortieth birthday present. Oh yeah, before you conclude I don't invest any money in cues, I bought the Falcon used for $125.

You know, I don't ever win a damn thing.

I'm sorry. Didn't mean to rub salt on the wound. If it's any consolation, all those cues I won were when I was 38 or older. You've got your whole life in front of you, Marissa.

Your day will surely come.

If you're REALLY determined to have a pink cue try this link :D
Vivian Villarreal V2 Pink Hipster
It's part of Mcdermotts new Vivian Villarreal V2 collection.

Oh...I've had two cues
1970's era novelty cue that I'm fixing up for my old dad
and a leather wrapped Mcdermott
Next cue will be a Jensen, then a Mike Webb (saving my pennies)

I don't want anything too girly... just a touch of femininity like a little pink ivory, etc. - do i sound like an elitist snob? lol i'm just very, very picky about anything in my life.

"I have very simple tastes. I only want the best." ;)

I have been banging balls for about 8 years and I have:

1 J/B
4 playing cues

BTW, I need more shoes too.
