Coming to grips with reality is a tough thing........our mind tells us we can still do some things but our body says just the opposite. We try periods of rest and try again....but with little avail......we attempt anything to preserve our ability to play a game we so dearly love but as the days go by, it gets tougher each and every day......I am afraid I am on the same highway you are travelling on and you're just a few exits ahead of me.
Don't give up. I played 3 - cushion with a guy named Bob at CM Lee's Place in Seminole FLA with a similar condition. His solution was brilliant. He had a bracelet he made with wood beads that went around his wrist. He kind of flicked the beads around his shaft and caught them in his bad hand. The cue went smoothly thru with no binding. He played well and the fix was not expensive. Any craft store available.
I know this from experience.. Keep up a good attitude and be grateful for what you do have left in the tank. and if still available I will take #12, all 3 pieces.
