I try to save all my PMs before deleting them from my mailbox. I attribute that to my OCD. It'll take a while to run a search (almost two year's worth on three computers), but if you're sincerely interested I can let you know when it's done.

I am sincerely interested. No need to go back so far.... I would think that you would only need to go back no more than 6 months. It wasn't all that long ago that you started mentioning it so 6 months back should be plenty of time.

Also if you answered my question earlier, I didn't see it. Do you have proof (maybe on your computer?) about the accusations you made about Eydie in Orlando?

No correlation except that whenever you've expressed a need for assistance, I've offered referrals, one of which you did use. The second, you still had the phone number I offered to give you again in case you didn't have it anymore.

It wasn't an expert opinion. It's not an insult; it's a treatable chemical imbalance. I used to see a shrink for my OCD.

In all honesty, over the past year I have twice told Marissa in PM's that she and I will never see eye to eye and I was done with trying. Both times I guess I lied because I finally could not stand the BS anymore and jumped back into the fray. In some bizarro world that could be considered a truce, I guess.

I didn't save the PM's because they were not important. If she did, feel free to post them and try to embarass me or whatever is your intention. I feel stupid for even getting dragged down to this level.

My thoughts.... Mike saw fit to appoint Dave as moderator. Don't know why. Dave was cool at first and has been lately getting more and more inconsistent, vindictive and autocratic. That's probably what Mike wants and I sure wouldn't want to be put in Dave's position.

This place is not fun anymore about 65.27% of the time. And, that truly blows.

I dont like Mr Wilson banning people either (except Duke of course) but the alternatives are no better. Chill.

Well I tried to keep quiet, but when I come to a billiards/pool website and get more drama then pool content, I wanted to say something. This is based on being a moderator for another gaming website.

I don't understand what the original issue was (lots of back reading at this point in multiple threads) but hope that the moderators are having a behind the scenes powwow on getting this forum back to pool oriented posts. Cut down on the back and forth bickering and character debates between members. If the mods are caught up in this, they should get set straight as well or lose their mod rights. At least lock some of these new threads people are making about Jimbo/Mr. Wilson and restrict the issue to one thread. Please consider this, at least out of respect to the rest of us looking for pool related info. This type of stuff handled in public as it currently is ruins the image of a content/member rich site like AZ.

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned on the messageboard before tonight as I was asked about it by a couple people.

Do you happen to remember approx how long ago it was mentioned or who mentioned it? I can do a search to find it. I'm pretty sure that if it had been mentioned before, Eydie would've said something. It is possible that she missed it though. I don't read all of the threads so I end up missing things too.

As for your questions on the moderator... I can't answer you honestly because I've already got 2 strikes against me & I would like to be a member at least until Derby City is over. The best I can tell you is... do a search of Mr Wilson's posts. I've got my own thoughts on how moderators should moderate and voicing those opinions are what really put me on his bad side. Judging from your comments above, I think our ideas on this matter are pretty close. Suffice it to say that I think you would be picking your jaw off the floor if you took the time to go back over some of those posts. JMO of course.

This is the first time I have followed a thread that has left me feeling downhearted and sad. There is a tone to this thread that just turns my stomach. It's as if all that is good about AZ is being slowly destroyed. I feel bad for Mike H. who has cultivated this site from day one and made it into something special.

I don't have an answer to this, only a request. Perhaps those of you on here that obviously have an axe to grind with each other, do so privately. I would rather not read about your accusations and rebuttals that go on and on endlessly. Maybe it is me that needs to go or at least take a break.

I thought it was a fairly simple message. Stop taking shots at other users. If you have an issue with them, then don't try to hijack every thread to take another shot at them.

Guess that was too difficult for some users to understand. It takes a bit of pushing for me to ban someone (especially a second banning) but it does happen if you push hard enough.

For the record, there have been two users that I banned and didn't feel bad about it afterward. One was Larry and the other was the green guy. Everyone else (DM, Rude Dog, Shorty, Marissa) has been a last resort sort of thing.

I know nobody is going to like this, but there is another internet "personality" who is supposedly a nice guy in person. Depending on who you ask, FL is everything to everyone from cradle to grave. Whatever he has to offer is overshadowed by the negative.

Jimbo does have his unique way of bringing out the best or the worst in people. And during a slice of our lives working together on a project, Torture, he was fantastic! He knew the right buttons to push to bring out ones creativity. I'll miss you bud!

I believe that in the post in question (too hard to find now), Jimbo told someone he read at a 4th grade level. Pretty G-rated stuff, there.

Incidentally, there's a somewhat amusing end to this. The person JimBo's comment was originally directed towards eventually wrote this: "his [JimBo's] initial post to me yesterday was pretty insulting, basically telling me I needed to take a 4th Grade reading class, inferring [sic] I was an idiot & of course the low post count bias." (Emphasis added)

Of course, by saying that, JimBo was implying that he is an idiot, not inferring it. Everyone can draw their own inferences on the subject.

Disclaimer: I'm generally against grammar policing on forums, but it nevertheless struck me as funny, given the original context of JimBo's "insult."

Yep, you got me on that one! I'm surprised I missed that before I posted it, I do try my best to ensure my posts are grammatically correct. Even to the point of having my 4th grade reference books handy! I'm kidding of course. They didn't have grades like that in England when I was a kid.

I did mention in the other thread that I was sorry to see Jimbo banned & that remains true. I didn't complain to anyone & tried to settle it with him but it was too far gone by then.

FWIW, I do hope his ban is reduced. He is a knowledgable person & I have enjoyed (most) of his posts. Obviously a lot of others feel that way too. I'm just sad to see this great site so full of bitterness when it & everyone here has so much to offer. It's not worth ruining that over this.
