Racking At The US BB Championship

...With the tournaments that have numerous players and aren't really "Pro Events" I would think you would just alternate breaks and break from the foot spot, or rack the 9 on the spot and break "from the box"...

CJ, what tournaments these days really are "professional events", meaning they are closed only to some professional organization consisting of players making a living playing pool or there is at least qualifying or nominating process, except for perhaps World Championships? In the USA I can't think of one off the top of my head.

is the US OPEN still scheduled?

I guess they would be the events that are made up of professional players....and yes, you may have a point, there's only "specialty events" right now, so the racking situation should be easy to get Referees for. I really haven't looked at the tournament schedule for this year, is the US OPEN still scheduled?

Not sure of the status of the US Open but that is not what I would call professional tournament. All any banger has to do to play in it is get their money in before the field fills, though I'm sure some spots have been held in reserve for the name players.
