Well, we WERE playing for the title of QUEEN! :p And the bragging rights to go with it.

I don't normally play in the Jillian's Wed. nighter, but did last week to get ready for big tables and will again tomorrow, since we have a women's tour stop there this weekend. Let the games begin!

Oh yeah, did I mention that I am the regining QUEEN? (At least this week!) :D

And Still The Queen!!!

It's been a long day. Got up at 4:30 (my first post yesterday proves it) and just got back from playing in a tournament and then l played Umma. I was at meetings all day with barely enough time to get to the tourney and no time to change out of my suit and heels. I am ALMOST too tired to gloat, but I hung in there and squeaked by with the winner 5-4.

I miscued with a long bridge shot and scratched on the 7 and another game I sold out by banking the 1 into the 9 and hanging it. However, Umma sold out the last critical game (I was eating, only meal today was at Olive Garden for lunch) when he miscued on the 8. It was a rough 8, but I managed to pot it and the 9 for the victory.

Looks like 1PRoscoe was too chicken to play and ran out the door :p before I was out of the tournament. 32 players and I took 7th. And that was after losing my first match to my husband. :mad:

I actually switched my contacts this morning to the opposite eyes, and was so dizzy I felt nauseous and had a headache all morning. Strange how your eyes can affect everything you do.

Another long day tomorrow, so I will have to gloat when I have more time, lol :D

What a rum way for me to go. Miscuing on the 8. :(

That was the second time I boned it. First time was my match against Sean. I ran out to the 7 ball from the break. 7B on rail 2 inches away from corner pocket, cue ball got shape 3 inches away, slightly off the rail. 7B to 9B easy shape. And because I was too lazy to take my time, I left the 7B a hanger. I have no one to blame but myself. :mad:

But even though I lost my match and also to Linda...errr..the Queen... I'm satisfied with my gameplay. Overall, I played decent in the tourney, winning 2 games against Linda's husband before he came back and won 2 games in a row, thus winning the match. I ended up getting 9-12th.

Another long day tomorrow, so I will have to gloat when I have more time, lol :D

Negative... It was 11pm and I was beat down tired and wanted to go to bed. 9-12th wasn't bad considering the field....

And Ross, you know that picture of me RACKING was not taken against you, as, again, you ran out the door before I could dispatch you in 1 hole. That photo was snapped against another opponent playing 9 ball during the tournament - verify by counting the number of balls in the rack, lol.

The QUEEN will be in residence all day on Saturday at Jillian's for the NWPA qualifier this weekend. Joanne Ashton, Kerry Impson and I are all carpooling. So you might possibly take a stab at me then, or Sunday if I am out and Joanne is still in, since I am her ride.

Oh, and Umma, your lips are not qualified to touch my pedicure yet. :p

If you want to play a few games as practice, let me know. I typically don't ask you gals on tourney days, since you're in the mindset and may not want the outside distractions... the outside distraction of playing the future King -- whenever that will be! :D

The QUEEN, has special powers, yes, indeedy. The QUEEN, coupled with the super powers of Wonder Woman, has unique extra powers. The QUEEN likes those gold bracelets. ;)

{The QUEEN also has a ball font (as well as a couple billiard fonts), clipart of a crown, and Printmaster, which allows her to mix and match and customize the graphics!} :rolleyes:
