I Just Want To Run This Past My Fellow Az Community. Now We Have All Seen Raffles Happen Here On Az And For The Most Part They Work Out Well For Everyone. What If There Was A Raffle For Some Premium Cues/cases Where You Not Only Have A Shot To Win A $5000 Cue But Your Guaranteed To Win Something?

In The Last Few Days I Have Listed 2 Herceks,2 Schicks, And A Lambros. Total Value Of These Cues Is Over $20,000. One Hercek Is Now Gone. Which Brings The Value Down To $14000-$15000.

Now This May Sound Crazy But This Is Just A Feeler.

Im Willing To Raffle Off 20 Spots At $1000 A Piece. If You Buy A Spot You Are "guaranteed" To Win Something.

Prizes Will Be As Follows

Hercek Gambler Cue
(2) Bill Schick Cues
Loaded Lambros Cue
Mint R12 Schon
(10) It's George Cases
(5) New Joss Cues

20 Prizes For 20 Ticketsand A Chance To Win Some Monster Cues.

Since This Would Be Serious Business For Those Who Dare To Be Involved. I Would Reach Out To A Respected Az Member Who Would Have No Interest In The Outcome Of The Raffle And Would Do The Drawing And Post The Results Here On Az.

Any Feedback Would Be Appreciated. Once Again It Might Be A Crazy Idea But I Think It Would Be Very Exciting For All Those Who Are Involved.

Or a $6000 Hercek... And it is rare to find a raffle where you at least get something back... so you really only paying 500 for the hercek, if the Joss is nice enough...

Throw is $1000 and come out with a Joss..............Nice :)

or an It's George case. :)

He did say for the "Gamblers"

At worst you lose $800 and at best you get a $6k cue.. Depends on how much you like to gamble.. :)

Me no like to "Gamble" :p

an idea

He did say HARDCORE gamblers, because I believe it would have to be somebody who can take the risk, but the payout for a Hercek or a schick would be nice for 3 people.

The only reservation I would have is how do you set-up the "raffle" so that it can be seen as being on the up and up. Would have to have an air tight system that already sets up the way to win being independent, and seen that way by all participants. That is why the powerball raffle works so well, with everyone's numbers being listed before the drawing - it shows complete independence, where all can see how it happens. That is what needs to be involved here to gain some interest - JMHO.

as i said in my original post its a gamble. how many raffles do you know of where everyone is a winner? how many raffles have you seen on here where people are trying to get more than what their cue is worth? my hope is to break even or enough to cover shipping expenses lol. this was an idea. hell if i get 20 people with enough "testicular fortitude" ill do it but i seriously doubt it.

powerball raffle would be fine with me. if i get 20 people to post the 1k ill let them decide how the raffle would be done.

I mean it can go both ways. Yes 1 way or another you are getting something and thas a good thing........ but for the price it can stay with the hardcore wipe ya ass with a c-note gambler lol...

And those who rather a Joss can keep the production made firewood :)

By your calculation, you have $14-$15k of items. By my calculation 20x$1K=$20k. When you make the cost equitable, I would be interested. I am not interested in helping you make an additional $5K.

The 15,000 value is based on 1 Hercek, 2 Schicks, and 1 Lambros

I Think It's A Cool Idea.

I'd Almost Rather Risk 1k Here, Than Backing Somebody In A Tough Set. At Least In This Case, If You Lose, You Get Something.

P.s. Ron, I Don't Think There Are Enough Guys Here With Enough Cash, Or Enough Gamble, To Make This Fly.

raffle

If i read this correctly then 20 tickets each win something. This is not a winner take all then can count me in.

Raffle

Consider 4 individual raffles for the big ticket items. If that was the case I would get into a couple and so will more people. Hard to get into a 1k per spot raffle..but 200 per spot and I'm in...
