yes it is a pocket table and from what I have read the k55 is what everyone is putting on all the great tables so I wanted to know what was involved in changing them and Im not sure which ones I have now I havent taken the cloth off one yet.
What is the difference between k66 and k55 cushions? All the treads I find people are using k55 so I assumed they are better and appear to be more expensive so there must be a reason.
So I would have to change the angle the rail sits on and possible the sub rail size thats what I wanted to know it sounds like alot of work. Im looking to make my table play better and if changing profiles will do that then I want to look into it.
Im not arguing with you Im not about to do all that work for the table to play the same I was just wondering what was involved in it if that made my table better thats all. Thanks for your input I know nothing about the make up of the table so Im trying to figure this stuff out

You should consider upgrading to an Artemis K66 profile cushion. Your rails may need some modification to be able to accept the cushion at the right height and angle to play at its best. Yes, you're looking at a lot of work, and something you'll need to hire someone with the proper training to do.
I think what the other guys responding are getting at is "If it ain't broke don't fix it.". I can't argue with that, but it you want to try to improve the play of your table, there are options, but I would agree that you should look at a better quality, better playing rubber, not changing the rubber profile altogether.
Yeah I dont think Im going to change the profile but will upgrade to better quality and I dont think there is anyone in this section of the world that would have a clue about modifying rails so I would have to do it myself not that it scares me, It doesnt sound like the reward is worth the work
If the table plays better its worth the investment its a pool table not a car im not looking for resale value but the best playing table it can be. Id love to have a brand new Diamond but I dont I have an old Palason lol.
